I desperate need help. Is anyone here a dealer in CA?

Can anyone let me know what is the current auction rate for 2004 CLK320 convertible?

I am trying to unload my mother in law's car today and dealer gave me a low ball offer of 21k.

miles-23800
auto, fully loaded except designo edition, lo-jack..etc.
Never damaged or driven in rain.

can anyone let me know realistically if i can get around 30k in trade in?

 

Dealers will always give a low ball offer. You can try Carmax, OR try an online sales site like autotrader.

21 K for a CLK benz????

 

Apparently the market for CLK are very poor right now.

Pretty much i was told that i can at most get $25k as trade in from the dealer.

The BB and edmunds are showing price between $30k (poor cond) to $36k (excellent condition) for trade in. And I am getting no where close to that.

There isn't a carmax in my area. The closest one is in modesto, which is way too far from here.

 

is the possibility of $9-15K too far to drive?

Galves is never 100% accurate, but I think $24k-$25k is realistic to what you'll get for it. I really don't know how the market is in CA, but on the East Coast the used car market is very very very soft..
