Help?

Hey all! I have a real question on hand here, I know I probably can't provide the details needed to get an accurate answer but any suggestions are welcome.

I Drive a 1997 Buick LeSabre with 112,xxx miles it's suppose to get 19/29mpg for a 3.6L V6 producing 205/230... sounds great but barely scrape together 20mpg on the highway... and no, I don't floor it everywhere I go. I use synthetic oils and I manage to get a change in every 4-6k, I use reg. unleaded (most of the time), and I went to a local shop, and a GM dealership and they said they could not find anything wrong without taking apart my engine . I saw that shell commercial (talks about perfomance robbing gunk), and I wondered if I should get that oil you put in to help clean the inside of your engine, will that get some precious mpgs back or what? Any suggestions are appreciated.

cars RARELY get what's advertised. Hell my wifes 4 banger accord barely gets 20 mpg most ot the time.

What routine maintnence do you do?

what do you get when the car is on cruise control? The slightest input of gas have an affect.

I (kinda) follow the manual, whatever is in the manual I do it, I think I have to check ALL of the fluids @ my current mileage, I stopped changing air filters 10k ago after I got the KnN. w/e I'll take it to the dealership and see what they say then have someone else do the work , I def need to get power steering fluid changed and well the tranny is just fine from what I can tell.

I use cruise control all of the time, and esp. on that 150 mile trip I took a while back when I got the poor gas mileage, does weather have a role in it? Cause it was hot as the devil's draws that day.

Many things have a roll, are you going uphill at all. Tire pressure plays a HUGE roll! WHen was the last time you changed the air filter, etc?

I live in South East Texas meaning there are no hills as far as the pollution will let the eye see. Tires had 2k on them before the trip (I checked the pressure before I left too), again I have a KnN so I dont plan on changing it, but when I took the trip it had 2k on it.
