Well, driving home the club tonight, i went out of my way to give a friend a ride to his car, and the quickest way home is to take back roads, rather than the highway i would have normally taken. Driving about 5 above the speed limit all the way home, i drive by a popo parked in a vacant lot. Thinking i did nothing worng, i thought i would be cool, but no. Gives me a ticket for no front plate ($75 fine), and a verbal warning on my tint. Just wanted to vent a little bit, shit like that annoys me. Just busting a kids balls at the end of the month to meet quota. The worst part is that the court date is on a monday night, the only night of the week that i have a night class Maybe i can get it taken care of, i don't need the aggrivation, and don't want to pay the fine.

In MI, you don't need to have a front license plate.

 

yeah, usually they give a 5 day tag, get it inspected and no fine will come from it. But the officer told me that if i get it taken care of, and show up at the court date i should be fine. I am in the middle of gettin a new lower digit lisc plate right now, so that is a good excuse too.

 

at least u didnt get a fix it ticket for your tint...... the cop was prob just jealous of ur CL

you need a front plate in HI too. I've always wondered though, if the state requires a front plate is it legal for people to just put it on their dash? I always see people doing that Sucks that you got a ticket

License plate on the dash is not legal in Joisey, I was ticketed for improper display/ficticous plates for having mine sitting on my dash after my front got hit by a flying object. This was better than 80 in a 65.

 

Yeah your right, but the bad part about the whole thing is this. I have an FOP (Fraternal Order of Police) emblem on my plate, because my dad knows ALOT of cops. So, this cop didn't even ask about it and after he comes back from his car, with a ticket i didn't know about yet, i say "I don't know if this makes a difference to you, but my dad is good friends with your captain, Tommy .........". He says, yeah that would have made a difference if you told me before i worte it out, Tommy is a good man
Why not ask me about the emblem BEFORE you write the ticket!
