Does anyone know how many points get transferred from NY to MA? I was told that I will get 4 points in NY, but I was wondering if all the points from NY gets transferred to Massachusetts? Any help would be appreciated.

I could be wrong, but I don't think NY accepts points from other states so I can't imagine that they would send them to another state.

I lived in NY most of my life and got tickets from Fla, Penn and NC. I never got points for any of those. The only tickets that I got points for were within the state.

And I'm pretty sure that you have a total of 12 points.

can't you take 4-hour driving school and get the points eliminated?

 

You can take a defensive driving course and knock off somthing like 3-4 points.

Well, I don't know about NY to MA, but when I moved from NY to CA my entire horrible driving record was transfered over. Most states these days reciprocate.
