Got a New VW
Got a New VW
Ive been on this forum since 2003 when I bought my first Acura, a 2004 TSX. I have had a couple other cars since then including a 2006 TSX. My last car was a 2008 Infiniti G37 coupe that was in 4 accidents and that I believe was cursed in some way
My newest car is a 2011 VW CC Lux 2.0T. I really love the look of this car at the turbo engine with DSG tranmission is pretty quick. I almost got a 2011 TSX but decided to lease the VW after driving it. Here are a few pics.

Wife is not a fan of the look, nor the VW nameplate. I've owned 3 VW and they were light, fast, fun and uniquely cool. Is it a lease? if not, what did you pay?

The CC, IMO, is better because it is a bit smaller and can be purchased by the general public well south of MB pricing. I like it.
OP: The tint helps. With the white color, it looks
I like everything about that car except for the transmission. The only thing that DSG does well is shift quick. Everything else about it just about sucks. So lurchy on take-off, my manual driving abilities can launch smoother than that..
I have a CC in my office now 1 year into the lease, my customer hates it because of the transmission. I'm buying him out and getting him into a Tiguan stick.

Thanks for all the comments. I really love this car. I almost got the R-Line package that has 19 inch wheels and a body kit but they only had them in black in my area. I saw this white Lux version which has navi and it was priced lower than the R-Line and was white with black interior. It was everything I wanted. I did lease the car due to the reliability of Vw products and since I usually change cars evry 2-3 years anyway. Another plus was the no charge maintenance similar to BMW's.
That's where you're mistaken...The no charge maintenance only covers whatever routine maintenance is required at certain mileage intervals (see your maintenance booklet and it will show you what they recommend to do for each interval). BMW's no charge maintenance is complete, covering EVERYTHING, including wear items like brakes and wiper blades. VW will only cover fluid changes and inspection of components for the servicing, not wear items.
Congrats!!!

Get the ecu upgrade. You will not regret it!

I love the CC but I don't know if I can deal with the power downgrade. This is a question I've been asking myself in regards to the A4/5 and its 2.0t. Guess I'll really need to drive them (I've only driven the S5 which I would sell my soul for).....

VW has some nice looking cars.

Nice wheels!
