Got my new car!!!!!
Goodbye acura. Hello BMW
I had some good times in the acura. took home some trophys. Got A TON of head turns. Car never really gave me any huge problems. all and all, we treated each other extremely well.
But its on to bigger and better things and i couldnt be happier
two days ago i took home my
2006 Bmw 325i
Sprakling Graphite Metallic
Navi, Bluetooth, Hids, Heated/power front seats.
Its awesome.
I dont plan on doing anywhere near as many mods as i did to the tl-s. the tl had more than 12k in aftermarket parts at its peak.
But i did already throw some 5 percent tint and 50 percent on the windshield and i would like to be able to watch dvds on the navi screen next.
would anybody here know any good bmw forums by chance?
The forum thing is disappointing, i was frequeting this forum for almost a year before i even owned an acura, and now i cant find a good bmw forum no matter how hard i look.
Thanks everyone for all the info, good times, tips, blah blah i have gotten in the second gen forum

thanks guys. i will take pictures. i didnt really think it necassary to take pictures of a basically stock car. but im sure i will.
i will check out those forums right now. i hope they are good ones, i have a lot of questions.
the bmw feels a little slower right off the line then the tl. and without the vtec plus the quietness of the bmw, it mentally feels much slower. but onces it starts going it doesnt feel like its gonna stop. plus 80 feels like 12mph. and thats nice. im sure once its broken in, once its got some kind of aftermarket intake and headers and injectors, and once i learn the sports shift, im sure it will get a little better.
and matelot, im not sure what you mean exactly by "did you get it with your own $$$?"
its a leased car. so technically i am driving it with bmw's money. but i put the down payment down and i will be paying the 580 dollar monthly payments with money i make in the business i own. just like when i bought the 30,000 dollar acura. and jjust like when i put the 12k in aftermarket parts into the acura. all my hard earned money. hope that answers your question.

I've been pretty infatuated by the E90 since I saw my first one in person. After getting so much information on the TSX after it's debut from a few sites that emerged around then, most of which are no longer online, I started searching and found these guy's http://www.e90post.com/. They're a 06 325/330 site with lots of useful info regarding your car. I wish I could afford a 330I, but at 42k, I gotta pass. The 325 is more inline with what I want to spend, but I'd take a TL for that kind of coin. Congrats on the new ride, I'm sure it's a sweet car.
