Braden from COBB Tuning did a writeup on the initial R&D on the ST.

I also made a blog as a build and R&D "dumping ground". You can read Braden's writeup there.

I'll also make a progress thread here once it arrives. Plans are starting to add up. Can't wait!

I saw a red ST yesterday. VERY good looking.

I saw a Tangerine Scream ST2 in the area here on Friday. I could tell right away what it was, heh. A nice looking color but too bright for my liking.

It looks it too.

Aman 10-09-2012 04:28 PM

I think it still looks awesome... and it wouldn't be hard to put on parts from the later LP-640s.

civicdrivr 10-09-2012 04:33 PM

The LPs look great IMO. But the OG just looks......dated. Thats a problem with a lot of supercars though.

charliemike 10-09-2012 04:37 PM

The Murci still looks good from some angles. The Diablo on the other hand looks really, awfully dated.

speedemon90 10-09-2012 06:05 PM

murci is really dated to me...

Costco 10-09-2012 10:15 PM

Countach was one of my favorite cars in the early '90s. You want dated looking, that's dated.

Fun fact: All 2002 Murcielago odometers are read in kilometers only.

Only the last 8 or so in the US & beyond read in miles.

We can thank this for that.

Still love the Diablo though.

Same here, esp. the 6.0. But seeing as they were only made for 1 model year really, they're becoming rarer & rarer and are starting to hold their value.

Finding 6.0 SE is becoming even harder.

RPhilMan1 10-10-2012 10:33 AM

Saw this yesterday... so clean!

I want a 6.0 SE so badly. I love them.

civicdrivr 10-10-2012 11:57 AM

I want an M5 Estate. BMW, make it happen.

There was an M5 Touring under the E60 (E61) model. I don't know if there are any plans under the F10 (F11) model.

It was only sold in Europe. There may be a couple that made it over, though.

Dated in an awesome way though ... Like pastel suits and loafers w/o socks awesome ...

charliemike 10-10-2012 07:57 PM

There's a 550i Touring M-Sport in the US and it's as close to a M5 wagon as we got in the E60/1 models.

Car looks pretty awesome.

Roy has had this one for sale for a couple years now, & it's honestly in the Top 5 best examples of the 6.0.

This is a perfect example for anyone wanting a car that has been driven as it was intended to whilst kept in the utmost, mint condition. The price is hard to swallow considering a LP670-4 SV can be bought for this price, but you won't find a Lamborghini nut like Roy anywhere else who uses these cars & knows how valuable certain models/options will be.

He had a Balloon White Murcie. SV w/ the optional fin-spoiler & 6-speed manual for sale, but I guess he decided to keep it. I believe it's only 1 of 2 in that particular configuration.

I just want to re-iterate how much you suck for making me want to go get a ST :)

Aman 10-10-2012 10:29 PM

Sounds a lot like you're prolonging the inevitable :tomato:

crazyasiantl 10-10-2012 11:16 PM

Going to try to sell the MS3 again. I'm dead set on a GTIl I think
