I do love the NSX. I just don't think the later models are worth $50k+ compared to what else you can get for that money.

I respect your opinion, but I have to correct one thing.
Yes, it was still sold up until 2005. But the technology is from the mid-80s. The biggest change they made to the car is bump the displacement up (on the manual tranny models) and added an extra cog in the manual gear box.
With that said, for $50k you could get a Porsche Boxster Still won't beat the Camaro Zed Lardass One, but thats not the point of the car. Much like the NSX.

Suzuka Master
same goes with buying supercars (if we ever are in that position) i doubt we will buy one car over the other cause its .3 seconds faster to 60 and can hold the skidpad better.
You buy it cause your ass is in love with the seat, your fingers are in love with the wheel and shifter, and your feet are in love with pedals, and your heart beats with the rhythm of the engine

That said, the comment about it being a 20-yr old car with 25-yr old tech is true.
But I would rock a 246 Dino if I had the cash.

the NSX is a driver's car. if you want "technology" go buy a GT-R and let it handle all the technical details of driving for you. have fun.

If anything, the older tech supports my argument that the later ones aren't really worth $50k.
But whatever. I've never driven either but would be perfectly happy to own one.

Value of an older car is subjective i think, if you like the car you would say its worth every penny, if don't like the car you would say its an over priced pos.
For 50k you can get z06 and slap up alot of cars out there, or make a civic run 9s for half that, but if you don't like the car it doesn't make a bit of difference

Of course the car we would create, the McLaren F1, needed to be faster than the NSX, but the NSX's ride quality and handling would become our new design target.
It achieved a very natural, linear feeling throttle, and I can now hide my embarrassment and confess that I copied the idea during the development of the McLaren F1 (laughs).

I wonder how long that lease is, how many miles you get with it, and what the residual value is.

I called lol. They can do 15-60 months, this particular quote of $2699 was for a 15 month with $35k down (not sure why it says $19,999 on the pic), 7500 miles a year (variable), residual value $200k. The sticker price is $258k.

Speaking of go-carting...with the "break-in" period over for my wife's MINI, I've been hooliganing it more in it recently. Man, is it a fun car.
I can only imagine how much better it is in the Coupe or the Cooper.

Judging by the cars in the background, I think that car was well taken care of.
