A truck is probably my next vehicle
I'm waiting to see what the FCA TRX / Rebel will be

Otherwise it's going to be some Denali type shit or restomod C10 stepside
If I go nuts, install a whipple on that bitch

We've always had Toyota trucks in the fam, still have a T100 and a TRD Tundra
I'm a big fan and I'd love a Texas Edition Tundra.. but love that LSx platform.

He's an island boy. Traded in his modded IS350 for the truck.
The truck fits his personality and size

Breh.. if you don't understand why a reggo cab is desirable, you don't understand the truck game.

SWB or GTFO

It's like explaining hot hatches or wagons... either you get it, or you don't
I would totally get a reggo cab, but I got kids!

I trained with a guy that had a dually duramax turbo diesel that was +1000hp
Lifted and scary AF. Guy works as a HVAC contractor, stupid AF, but had boatloads of $$$, def a millionaire.
I think he was laundering money for the cartels, but that's another story.
Anyways his truck was scary fucking fast. 10s in the 1/4.. consistent.
But it had eaten 6 transmissions.

Nah bro, I don't get it. Not in the truck game. But for me, extended or crew cab for sure. Though I'd definitely go for the short bed.

Diesels can make some epic power and a dually has a TON of grip on the rear end.

How many people do they think they really impress by that kind of trucks/driving? Aside from other "bros" who are just like them?

Yup. Everyone has their own taste/style for automobiles and you know what...as long as they don't do stupid/illegal crap...its fine...

But from my real life experiences/witness and most online forums...most people laugh at those trucks rather than feel impressed by them.

But you can say same thing for lot of flashy sports cars....general public will think you're in mid life crisis or compensating for small anatomy....goes both ways I guess.....

My office overlooks a busy touristy mall/intersection, usually get 2-3x/daily of some dude revving their bike/car up loud AF....

Well for comparison purposes... based on the article, it seems those people are not cucky enough to do a proper launch in the M5 which resulted in slower time than E63... but that weight difference tho...

So let me get this straight...

The GT2 RS accelerates faster than a Senna, has a higher top speed, has higher grip, and only very slightly slower 1/4mi time...for 1/3 the cost.

Imma take the E63S wagon.

To be honest, once a car gets to a certain level, all the #s all look similar except the dollar amount. If you put P1, 918 or LaFerrari's #s in there, i am sure they won't look too out of place either.
But that is all on paper. I personally probably will never know the difference between driving a GT3-RS-RS-R and an million hyper car.... but i am sure there is significant difference.

This business in a nutshell. Which brings us back to the Senna, a car that should be nothing but data. McLaren claims the fish makes 1764 pounds of downforce at 155 mph. It has adaptive suspension, adaptive aerodynamics, and no trunk whatsoever. The car was hot-rodded up from a 720S, more power from McLaren’s ubiquitous twin-turbo V8 but the same basic platform, for the sole purpose of pulverizing corners. Rear visibility is atrocious. The carbon-sheet seats carry less padding than the typical bicycle saddle. The Senna is so serious in focus and intent that the usual McLaren road-car details—a warranty, lights, turn signals, a killer Bowers & Wilkins stereo—all feel like laughable put-on.
Context is everything. The mass of air pressing onto a Senna at a buck-fifty-five weighs almost 300 pounds more than a Sixties Lotus Elan, 1.5 times as much as a Steinway concert grand piano. Seventeen hundred pounds is above-average weight for a full-grown cow. The Senna makes 441 pounds more downforce than McLaren’s last seven-figure exotic, the P1, but is 434 pounds lighter. Its downforce is on par with a 2018 IMSA GTLM race car. The Senna is a genuine revolution, too advanced to be legal in any racing series, built from ideas so useful that they were banned by the FIA.

I was gonna say, the truck Majofo posted is totally an island bruddah truck.

I don't need to see him to know the driver is 5'10, 350 lbs and wears sandals no matter what the weather is.
