Does anything come near that TLX lease that's worth getting pricewise? Is that deal even realistic?

I give the Accord a ton of credit here. The Accord is the ultimate "I want to look successful but not ostentatious" car. It's a great car to have, drive, take care of, and it will last.

Acura dealers are not aggressive with discount, that is one of the reasons why TLX is not selling....
If you read the article, Accord being new has really bad leasing programs.. actually we can say it has no programs.... High money factor, 0 discount, bad RV % releatively speaking. So it is obvious Honda wants to take advantage of the situation (new accord, Turbo engine and etc...)
I would suspect within 6 months or so, you can lease an Accord with more equipment and better performance for around the same price as TLX.

Now with the 2.0T, they can easily tune it to have a 50hp gap to justify the difference in premium along other options. So we will see what they do.

We will see what Acura does. I mean before there was only so much they could do to a the j35 to differentiate the TLX and the Accord.

I was behind a Kia Stinger GT with dealer tags this morning. Not sure if they are out yet or not. I snapped a cell pic I'll try and upload in a bit.
Looks good. Very Alfa Gulia from behind, sleek kia from the front. Overall a nice looking sport sedan.

Thx for posting. Hmmm. Very interesting. What's that odd thing on the roof? Looks like the panel for the sunroof? Strange-looking.

Pano sunroof. panel moves up & back instead of down/inside & back.
I imagine it allows for it to open further, not being restrained to the back seat roof interior dimensions.

I've seen like 6 in the canyon, think they were testing something. They looked pretty damn good!

That turbo is nice and all in the Accord but get ready for the insurance bump. My buddy turned his Infiniti Q lease and got the newer version but with TT and his insurance skyrocketed. Flawless credit and driving record still.

Is it as simple as it having a turbo?
Or that he went from a 3.7 Q50 to a turbo Q50 with a lot more power?

Well they lowered the displacement from 3.7 to 3.0. Technically it's less hp too from 328 to 300.

Q50 3.0T is legit
Transmission isn't great, but it has pep.

He got a white one. Dipped the wheels and emblems black. Black matte on the roof. Painted calipers red. Looks good.

That's exactly how I felt.. I didn't mind the seats, but everything just felt cheap
Steering is numb.. but it's a smooth ride..
Execution is 6/10 best.. that's why you can get one for like 20k with just a little time and mileage off the clock.
That's a steal of a deal.

I read it as, went from N/A Q50 to something like a Red Sport or similar. Otherwise

as far as mediocre sport whips with shitty dual screen setups go..
Q50 3.0T > TLX
Q50 3.0T > TLX

Yeah he got it for like $350 with taxes incl 12k miles. $2,000 cash down with fees and 1st included.

My insurance dropped from S2000 to 335 and dropped again from 335 to 435.. not idea why. My other friend who has Q50 TT insurance gone up from $10/month from his old FRS.
So it really depends. If you friend simply gone from NA Q50 to TT Q50 and his insurance sky rocketed, i think there is more to the story, or maybe it is time for him to go shopping.

I think that varies from person to person. Turbo is not a factor, at least not a big one since all cars are going turbo.

Nationally, Kia is offering the 255 hp Stinger 2.0 turbo from $299 for 36 months with $2,999 due at signing. The deal includes an allowance of 12,000 miles per year, which is pretty standard for Kia.
Based on an effective cost of $382/month, we consider this a pretty good deal given the vehicle’s MSRP of $32,800. Program bulletins show the deal includes an impressive $4,800 in factory lease discounts.
This means the base model Stinger is actually cheaper to lease than Chevy Camaro with the 2.0T even though the Kia has a sticker price that is $5000 more. But the news gets better, apparently, the higher up you go on the Stinger trim level, the more money Kia puts on the hood to make the lease competitive. At the top of the range, the all-wheel drive Stinger GT2 benefits from a whopping $6,800 in lease cash, something we consider incredibly surprising. In contrast, buying a Stinger isn’t nearly as attractive, at least for now.

^ So where does that land for a monthly on the GT? Could make for a stellar deal.

Not horrible but not good either. The residual value is a killer and the money factor kinda sucks. I'm sure this will change quick if people aren't buying this thing.
Team Owner
I didn't do any calculation but base on your calculation it is too expensive to lease. Considering you can get a 80% loaded 340i for pretty much the same $$ and it is not a stripper either.
Kia is not going to steal many customers if they dont work on their money factors. Dont think they can do much on the RV....

Hi,
I'm new to the site and wondering what forum I should post in for discussions about my 1995 Acura Legend Coupe. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
