Prototypes. Unfortunately, can't get you any pics or extra info without costing my job. Lexus is extremely strict about them. Couple coworkers said they're very nice.

..... I drove a 2009 M3 6MT last night, it felt really slow - is it a really big difference if the Power mode is off? That's the only technical thing I could think of. (I didn't know to check it, when I drove it). Now, I'm comparing this to the 2011 M3 SMG I had for awhile earlier in the year, which felt plenty fast.

The Power button just changes the throttle response. If it "felt" slow it may have been because the throttle tip in wasn't as quick.

thanks for the info - I wonder what was the deal with this car. I had throttle at around 90% at 3000 rpm and the car wasn't picking up speed with any urgency.
Someone in our work doesn't know shit about cars; they brought out a Turbo S & 570S to benchmark. But, I can't complain since I got to drive the 911 all the way back to her store.
Wouldn't have had that chance with a 918 & gotten to experience how fast the new Turbo is.
On the M3 feeling slow, doesn't the car default to a lower power level? Don't you have to press the M button to get 100% of the power? Or am I mixing it up with the M5 on that feature?

I dunno. I just think some setting was different on this one. I have driven a few in the past and they felt much faster. Anyways. Prince died so this "problem" doesn't seem too much of anything anymore. Lates.
Part of the Society of Automotive Engineers at the University I go to, we were invited by Ferrari Houston to come and check out their dealership/bodyshop/service bay/motorsport area.
