I am not arguing with you. I see your point. Just saying that putting Maybach every where (to me) is a dilution of the product....
It's just going to become a trim level because people will buy it just for the name and what it symbolizes. GMC did the same thing when they extended the Denali trim to all of their models. Now you can get a GMC Terrain Denali. Probably won't be long before there's a CLA Maybach. All MB sees is $$$ and they are right to do so. There are plenty of $40k millionaires who would quickly plunk down an extra $10-$20k to drive a "Maybach".

I get this, though I agree with 2012wagon too. Devalues the name into merely another trim level.
My friends 2010 E93 had a dead battery. Think it would be as easy as going to Autozone and getting a new battery? Nope. Turns out in order to get a new battery in a BMW it has to be programmed in. Almost $400 for a battery.
I guess the car monitors the battery's charging cycle and adjusts as the battery ages. It has to be reset when a new battery is put in.
But at what point is too much for a Stang? I guess 50K Vettes, now fetching 100K for some models, why not the Mustang I suppose....
Well, aside from my mistake about the upgraded leather, I have everything a $50K Audi A5 has for $35K. Had I gotten the better interior I would confidently say that the Mustang is 95% the Audi for 70% the price.
So the GT350/R could very well be 95% of a $90K sports car for 70% of the money and be a great deal.
For example, I would love to see a Jaguar Coupe R and GT350 compared. I bet they are each superior to the other in different categories and yet the Mustang is probably not a ridiculous choice to make.
The new Mustang has one issue IMO: The reputation of the previous cars and its owners. Simplistic and narrow focused cars that really were not very good and owners who couldn't appreciate better alternatives.
I think the new car will go a long way to bringing new blood to the model and hopefully dispelling the mulleted meathead image associated with it.
Supposedly, the AMG GT S is the $130K model. A 450hp GT model is coming that could be about $110-115K. That's Audi R8 territory. And about $10K more than the F-Type R.
I wish I could play at that level but maybe a three year old $80K model might one day be a possibility
If you really are a neonatalogist.. I'll suck your D on top of the Kaaba man.
You can make fun of my Muslim religion and be disrespectful all you want. Have heard it all my life.
I am a board certified neonatologist. I will be in Orlando Feb 16-22, as I told someone on the TSX forum, who will be coming to the conference, and having lunch with me.
If you are in LA, I would be happy to treat your future kids, at any of the 3 hospitals I practice in.
One of my neighbors (forum poster here), knows me well enough, and what I do for a living, since the hospital is next to his house

Wasn't digging at your religion.. bruh.. don't you specialize in high risk.. stay away!
He's in LA. This is why he sees tons of R8's. Popular car down there in SoCal.
Uh, yeah, I get that there may be more in LA. I see them when I drive through Paradise Valley and Scottsdale here in the Phoenix area, but it's not like it's a Prius. They're made in pretty limited numbers. So, unless you are sitting in the actual factory that makes the R8, it goes way beyond reasonable hyperbole to state that R8s are "everywhere".

True. They aren't everywhere, like my 9th Gen Accord.
