If you look at it from a profile, only the top 20% of the bumper sticks out and then tapers down radically to the lower grille. Looks really awkward.

New ILX after owning TL. Need advice on modifying!
I just bought 2015 ILX after owning a TL for many years. I think I need to modify my ILX for performance and speed, as well as a few other things. I have been un able to find much on modifications for the ILX. For example, a cool air intake and exhaust for the 2.0... Does anyone have any advice or tips for the ILX?

Best to check the ILX subforum-- 3d pulldown menu from the left at the very top of each AZ page.
Otherwise, you may need to check Temple of VTEC or a Civic forum for mods.
Welcome to AZ.

Had pretty much every option. Looks much better in person. Interior looks WAAAY better then the last generation, and overall it looks MUCH more upscale aswell. This thing is a huge, huge improvement over the last generation Mustang

It's honestly not a photogenic car. In pictures it looks a bit weird, the front especially.
In person it looks much better.. The profile is very nice.. With the options, it looks very sexy. Good job Ford, now I have to change my opinion of Mustangs.

so bad ass. you don't see too many black ones. if I was to get one, I think this would be it.
I just wanted to hear some more thoughts on this chop. Hate or not.
Someone asked about Acura producing any convertibles.
Im sure many here have seen the travesty of a convertible 4g.
What about this??
Just a stupid quick chop I did so hate away...
One comment made me LOL

^^ one curious thing, the 1LE is listed as being driven by Randy Pobst. There is no driver listed for the 458 and Viper.......

I still think this is the quickest car to return your investment outside of Ferrari. It's still not 10 years old and already some have doubled.

A guy that frequents C&C here in Richmond has a Heritage GT. And a white/blue stripe GT. And a 458. And a 650S.

Burning Brakes
Ideally, it could be an F-Type competitor without rear seats because of how cramped they would be if they were there (useless really) so no rear seats and just storage cubicles like in the Del Sol and CR-Z would be ideal, thought rear seats would be a good idea and likely, especially since it would make the car more practical.
I dream of a 330HP-280LB-FT 3.5L DOHC VTEC V6 sitting longitudinally with a RPM red line of 7,500rpms connected to SH-AWD only through a 6 speed manual or 8 speed DCT as the base configuration and a 410HP, 350LB-FT 4.0L DOHC VTEC V8 with the same power train as a second engine offering and a 380HP, 390LB-FT 2.5L Turbo I5 SH-AWD Hybrid as the range topper, all with a major RWD biased mode in the SH-AWD system.
Acura will never get it's own platform (or V8), thanks to Honda, but like the early days with the G2 Legend and Vigor, Acura could modify the platforms to have that longitudinal proportion to set them apart more. Making all future Acura engines aside from SUV's longitudinally mounted and standard with SH-AWD to set the brand apart form it's overly controlling parent.
The car would be called a CLX and priced between the TLX and RLX but can cost slightly more than the RLX with the Hybrid drive train. Materials are to be flagship quality, well over all that has been done before. ZDX interior styling and extreme feature packaging will draw people form BMW and Merc.
Performance will be best in class at both the pump and on the track regardless of the engine choices. Handling will be superior and reminiscent of the late 90's and early 2000's Honda's and Acura's but the ride quality and refinement of today's Acura's.
I cannot tell you how well I have envisioned this Acura. If I had the ability I would have Acura build them starting tomorrow.
I used the Acura Mystery concept design elements from 2007, released in 2012 for the first time ever but only briefly with the ASCC being the base sculpture and using the ILX's skin to dress it.
I really hope you guys like it. (Acura I'm in need of a career and would be more than happy if I got a call!)
Oh, and look at their responses over at TOV! Some of my best work yet.

Not bad. I'd shift the greenhouse 2-3" forward in an effort to put in rear seats (even if they're useless) and increase trunk space.
Looks good otherwise. V8 + available 6MT and RWD would be perfect.
And that girl must have excellent balance to only have one leg.

I'd track one of these all day every day over one of the low power low weight cars. 86/s2k/miata would rape this on an autocross course though.

The interior sucks balls. It's so terrible, I'd equate it with the interior from an early 2000's impala. The car desperately needs an updated interior and updated tech to account for the price they are charging.
Sure, but the Mustang has an interior that's 1000x better and is the same cost. Even the old Mustang interior was better than the Camaro. Care to explain?
