Gas price are falling...

So, I want to know, are you driving more, less or did your driving habits not change as fuel prices went up.

I thought I'd add this pic I took on Saturday night in Warsaw, Missouri at a Wal-Mart... crazy sick cheap gas prices.

Seen cheap gas? How much was it and where? Got a pic?

Although the gas prices have decreased a bit over the last two weeks, my new (good) habit of going easy on gas has not changed and will not change.

I realized that I can save a lot of gas by driving less with some good driving habits.

My habbits changed, but so did my driving needs. I commute mostly on the highway for work with no traffic in either direction. My mileage went up, but so did the cost of filling up every week since gas kept increasing.

I'm much happier now spending less $ each week. It's $4.15 for premium here in NY right now, but I hope it gets lower obviously.

$4.39 for premium in Santa Clara, CA. Glad to know it's almost a dollar less in other parts of the country. We pay more for homes and gas lol.

It was a great feeling filling the tank up and still being under $60. Haven't seen that in a while. That was on premium, too.

Paid anywhere from 4.05 - 4.50 for premium around here.

Doesn't change my habits at all.

I'm glad it's cheaper but I'm still driving the same amount.

Just saving a little coin.

Thats not cheap
Show me gas around $1 like it was around 99-2000 and I will say its cheap.

You are falling into the trap they have created. They push prices as high as can until demand drops. Once demand drops they lower the prices enough to get get the demand rolling again. Its a cycle that gets played over and over and with every cycle the price gets higher and higher.

Global demand continues to grow. $1 gasonline is a thing of the past.

I think I saw regular for 3.29-3.39 somewhere around here....I can only find supreme for 3.59 right now though.

Hopefully the prices will continue to fall.

My driving hasn't changed. I do use the A/C less though, because it hasn't been all that hot this summer

goddam... 3.59 for premium!?

it's about 3.90 for premium here (at a good place like shell/chevron)... although you COULD go to QT or walmart and get premium for 10 cents cheaper but fk them.

Compared to the $4.15 I got used to paying at the pump, I would call sub-$4 gas "cheap."

When I snapped that pic that was in the middle of the state of Missouri, but in Kansas City where I live you can find it closer to $3.59-3.69 for regular. It was pretty sad a few weeks ago when I went to the pump and saw premium for $3.99... I did a little gig at the station.

Gas will never be a buck again, but it's nice to know that people took notice, took initiative and actually reduced their consumption, which in turn increases the supply and drops the demand. Sure, it'll go up again, but finally people are doing something about it. Personally, I haven't changed my habits much. I still get that VTEC going and fill every week, but it's nice to pay a few bucks less every week.

Nope. Haven't changed at all. I still have to get to work, and so does the wife. We've always used the car when we go out on the weekends unless we go to the store.

I just filled up with 93 for $4.03 last night. I got gas on my way to the gym instead of near home because it was still around $4.25 the last time I checked a couple days ago.

I've been light on the gas pedal for a couple years now, so not much has changed in the way of my driving habits recently.

Move, or deal with it. I tell my sister that all the time. She lives in Long Island and commute about 100 miles a day.

I filled up Sunday with 93 for $3.81. It's not the $0.89 cents I vaguely remember from a couple years ago though.

Not changing shit. Although I hadn't exactly changed my habits per se, I just got a new job that reduced my daily drive from 80 miles to 9. That was back in Feb, though, before the gas prices had gone completely insane.

Yep. 100 miles per day. Sometimes more. I was doing about the same when I lived in Jersey. That was one of the reasons I moved. I was filling up my car 7 to 8 times a month, and the truck 2 to 3 times a month. Now I fill up 4 times a month combined.

price per barrel (ppb) has really gone down. Many factors to this: Less gas demand, less demand from China, increased inventories, or that the oil speculators have stopped driving un the ppb.

Gas is 45 cents cheaper now, premium is $4.31. But I'm still driving slower like when it was almost $5 a gallon.

you OPEC, I doubt the price will stay down for long.

About $4.05 here for 93; however, my driving habits haven't changed from when it was $4.39 (or $3.39 for that matter). I still have to go where I have to go and do what I have to do...and I never eased up on the gas pedal or decreased my overall speed.

Wow Walmart FTW

http://www.fuelgaugereport.com/ That website keeps track of the average price of gas.

http://www.gasbuddy.com/ That one lets you find cheap fuel near you.
