No just reality and the future of leasing/financing as stated by many auto industry experts in more and more articles.

Like I said before- there are plenty of cars out now that are priced lower than their older counterparts. And the 350Z is a perfect example.

That alone makes the "sheep" think it's a screaming bargain, huh?
Now you're confusing two separate issues I was discussing. The leasing/financing issue with the "sheep" is one thing. The issue of 'cars being inflated in price (for what you get) further than income has risen' is another.

I'd love to know who all of these people are that you're talking about..... you know, the ones who buy so far beyond their means and end up screwed. I certainly don't know anyone in that situation.
You don't work at a dealership. I see them every week. People rolling over the amount they're upside-down into the new loan or a lease. These days everyone wants to live like people who have big money even though they don't, and the whole advertising industry is telling them they should and they "deserve it".

Most people can't AFFORD to turn over a car every 2-3 years, and that's proven simply by their taking 4-5 year loans on them but still trying to be as "hip" as their neighbor (who actually can afford turn it in in 2-3 years) and still going in for a new car and rolling their debt into a new loan/lease while their neighbor can actually afford it at his income level.

It's nothing new, it's nothing shocking. It's the simple reality of how many Americans think and behave. They act on feelings instead of reality. They listen to the voice saying "don't worry about that debt, we can roll that into this nice NEW car that meets your NEEDS. Get rid of that old thing you don't even WANT anymore." It all sounds good. Many wrong decisions do. People go with their wants and feelings instead of needs and what they can really afford safely.

I don't care, I'm just mentioning it since it's the root cause of the topic we were discussing. If you can truly afford what you buy and don't have revolving debt, you are thinking properly and living within your means. Congratulations! =p

Yeah...

The same guy who said the CLS was the shit and talked trash about Nissan.

Then sold the CLS, got an SUV and talked smack about the CLS.

Totaled the SUV within a week or something, got an Audi and went to bed with the Germans.

Then sold the Audi, bought the G35 sedan and now thinks he walks on water with the sedan.

Phew... I'm outta breath.

Good olde Russ, havent heard from him in a while. Whatever he owns is the latest and greatest. You could have an Enzo Ferrari and he would find some minute detail on how his car is better.

STOP! you guys are going to scare away the resident a$$hole again. tom2 is very opinonated, and may come across as arogant at times, but at least he presents logical agruments. SO what if he is a fanboy of whatever he is driving? like thats the first time we've seen this behavior on the forums? Z mafia anyone? he is usually aggressive, but at least he doesn't punk you out, or threaten you, like our e-thug, zeroday.

They weren't talking about Tom2... They were talking about Silverbullet (Russ).

BTW, I'm glad to see Tom2 back, even though if it's only in a few threads here and there. I agree he was very good at making logical arguments.

Everyone is entitled to their opinions, but I totally disagree. I could afford a G35c, but I wanted the Z. The Track model Z is equal to more expensive than the G.

As someone said earlier, if you want a 2-seat sports car, get the Z... If you want 4-seat sport-lux car, get the G35c... Both are great cars. Neither is necessarily better. They are cars for different purposes.

Sure whatever you think. Hmm if everyone thought of the same they would be posting. But only a handful and the only ones are the trolls that are posting. Seems to me. I never had any issues with threads. so quit your lieing.

Those forums are so boring. Been on many clubs in the past, and those have hardly any new posts a day. I mean its just so laid back and boring there. lol. Here it feels like a little family I guess.

Yeah, I have read all of those.... Car and Driver getting 14.2 is really good. And the other two are only a tenth off.

What I find strange is that Car and Driver got the same time for the coupe (14.2), but the 0-60 time was 5.5 seconds. That would make you think that the sedan, with a time of 5.9, would be pulling harder from 60 mph on, but the trap speed of the coupe was 100 MPH, so I guess not.

I guess he tried to get a little smarter this time, to keep from being banned the first time he posts. The Accord part of the name still gave it away.

I didn't have the MPH on that post, but they were all above 100 on the trap as well.

Please... So I'll spend the two hours trying to "prove" you wrong. OK, I'll get right on it.

The problem is, if I was the only one claiming this, I'd probably have to back myself up. But when other, senior members here are saying the same thing, isn't that proof enough?

All I know if this topic started out as a G35 coupe vs. 350Z thread. And then you come in, Oh... Oh... Look at me. I have a G35 sedan and I'm faster than all of you...

Get real, will ya. You've turned this thread into shit. A civil discussion has turned into a pecker-measuring contest. Feel good about trashing another thread?
