Props to the guy doing it, but I wouldn't call it a conversion, as that model never had an RB in it. Only VQ engines.

I don't get why he has such sh!tty wheels and he spent all that money on the "conversion". And plus, no way that is pushing "1200" hp as he claimed on a "stock tune". lmao.

Impressive effort. Cost is obviously no object for this guy.

^ impressive indeed but he's confused. he has the r34 engine and an r35 front end in a g35 coupe..... he's basically driving 3 cars at once

IMO, I'd just get the R35, and then work on making even more power from the turbos, plus the shifters on those things are record breaking fast. Plus it looks better, I think the G35 is way to bulky.

wow, so he got the worst of both worlds - the ugly GT-R front end and the G35 interior

You should hear all the young military guys that come over here and say, "I'm gonna get an R34 and bring it to the US". Or this one, "The Supra is the same, just change a few parts". They have no idea until they research this through the USDOT website.

I like that this dude did something different. But with a lot of money, I would have gotten a true GT-R, R34 with the RB26 DETT making about 400HP without a tune, oh, and make it a V-SpecII while we're at it. Nismo to boot (very rare).

The car? Not my cup of tea, but it was nicely done and it sounds amazing. I agree that he could have got a better set of wheels.
