G35 problems

My brother bought a G35 about two months ago and already he has had the air conditioning unit replaced twice. Anyone else heard of quality issues with the G35?

On the plus side of this story, Infiniti service has been great. My brother still loves the car and would recommend it to anyone.

infiniti is supposed to be coming out with a fix for the ac unit shortly, maybe on the 2003.5 along with some other minor revisions. i've read where a couple people have had some problems with it in high humidity. haven't seen anything major reliability wise, mainly new car glitches being worked out.

My brother has a G35 and the only problem he has had so far is the head unit wouldn't play CD's. He had it replaced and all is well. Check out www.freshalloy.com and www.g35driver.com they both have forums for the car. There are some other minor problems, but its a new car, what do you expect. BTW, someone on the fresh alloy board already had his TRANNY replaced!!!! He never posted why it died. Overall it is an AWESOME car!!!! I would get the G35 Coupe in a SECOND if I had an extra $40K laying around!!!!

Tranny replaced? Was it a stick? If so, he must not know there's a third pedal you need to use.
