I've stayed out of this conversation until now since it's about the 1000th time the CL has been compared to the G35c/Z, and it gets us nowhere. All are nice cars. End of story.

But I do have to comment on Torque's comment. Oh wow.. 14.7 personal best!! I'm quaking in my boots. Your car is an Accord. It's not CL/G35/Z. I drive an 03 Accord sedan as my city car and winter car. It's well made and comfortable, but it's no looker. Stop trying to butt in? All those pictures and it still looks like ass IMO

 

Now that you mention it, it does look a lot smaller than normal. Looks good though. Last time I was at the track, I saw a V6 sedan running low 15's and high 14's stock.

 

Man, we need some help over here. My friend has an auto V6 2003 Cord and an injen intake...

we are desperately trying to get into the 14s...his times are consistently 15.1 with the occasional 15.2 and 15.0

He will put in the high octane gas...etc to try and help and now we are going to try some free mods before we put stock intake on(which we hear is not giving gains like it should)

that color of G35 with the shiny brembs behind the wheels makes me wet...every time

 

I have to agree interior does blow compared to CL/TL...also, i have mixed feelings about the seats..

I wouldn't say many many, but quite a few are in the high 13s. My friend ran a 13.8 bone stock in his, which is one of the faster times I have seen.

 

Actually, many Z's run 103 as their trap speed.

I cant believe this has become a Z vs SRT4 vs Accord thread. The SRT4 and Accord are both FWD cars, WHICH SUCK FOR PERFORMANCE, plain and simple. The Z might not be the quickest car, but it's a nicely rounded package. I would take good handling anyday over straightline speed. If you want a fast straight line car, buy a 5.0

Who cares about WHP....It means nothing if you cannot effectively put it down to the ground. FWD isn't the proper layout to put down large amounts of horsepower, especially when racing. I guarentee that powering a SRT around a sharp turn would just cause massive amounts of understeer or wheel spin. Again, all the SRT has to offer is acceleration.
