heh, like G35c said it'll be a drivers race. I've driven an auto g35c and it felt as fast or faster than my car....fwd sux!!!

g35c 6mt is around 14.3-14.4 (from the G35 forums), so you're a little slower than that since you're auto. Only if I were still down in SD, I would run with you guys too.

 

G35racer, pricks like u trip me out. Infiniti finallly has a hit after what 12 years. Nissan fans have waited almost as long as the Chicago Cubs fans for some respect. And much like the Cubs you may now go to the playoffs but you won't win any Championship. It is known how great the G35c is, no need to chime in. It is built off the 350z platform, it better handle well. The VQ is already an incredible engine. It really was a no-brainer. Infiniti finally has a car that looks great, instead of ugly, or uglier.

If u want to go there, we can talk about how the interior resembles a 1988 Dodge Colt. But we won't. Until this same sorry woman sees your friend in a LEXUS, Mercedes-Benz or BMW. And it don't matter if it's an ES 250, C230 Hatchback or 318 Hatchback. All she will see is the badge. And Infintiti don't cut it with women. Sorry.

Also, the auto version of the G isn't a slouch, and I really doubt you'd BEAT him. Perhaps by a half a car... You certainly wouldn't be showing him your tail lights...

You trap at what 98 or so??? Same with the Gs... It's all about getting off the line baby, as you know you have FWD and we have RWD….



I've seen auto slips stock in the 14.2s, 14.3s, 14.4s... STOCK... It'd be a damn close race, IMHO.

Racing from 30 is a terrible spot for any auto CL-S try it again from 20. BTW if you where in Houston I'd race you til 130 or even top speed.:P

Trust me, I don't take V8s lightly at all. I've driven some really V8 monsters in my day. My last car was pushing over 450hp and would rip your hands from the wheel. Sometimes it would even clear the left front tire off the ground.

And because our V6 lacks real power and easy to do mods, I spent my $$ on wheels and tires to pick up that lowend.

My 60' times were consistently between 2.18 and 2.26 when I wasn't experimenting.

I say SCREW the G35c! it can't beat my auto '03 accord V6 coupe! 14.7 @ 97mph, with just injen cold air baby!!! :P oh, and did I mention that the interior is nicer than the G, even though my car cost me only 23k? It also comes with an available voice activated, touch screen, dvd based navigation system(which responds to over 180 different voice commands)! why can't you get than on the G that costs more than 10K more?

well I just cleaned my dirty intake which was probably the reason for my times. johntypes has witnessed my 14's earlier this year, and you can ask him how close my races with him are! my last best timeslip was a 15flat at 95mph, 2.44 60'. now you know, and I know that with a 60' improvement, I would have run a 14.7, dirty filter and all.
