Yeah BT.
I hate the t & pistol shifters with authority
Also hate chrome & aluminum colors, so it would need to be black.
I was looking for a simple basic black leather shift knob but can't fine one. This I got used very cheap.

But the T handles I liked...and they had it in black.
I just always thought the ball looked silly on an auto. Keep looking around though, I bet you can find someone who makes an aftermarket leather one.
fuzzy, what forums/boards do you go to for the 300? I've been looking around, and not sure what the best are. I like the new 300S's, and am doing a little research on them. I'm not buying anything for a while, but just planning ahead a bit.

Been awhile....I revisited the smoked tail lights. Been on the car for months now. Bought a set & put in LED bulbs. I like them. Not too dark & still visible while getting rid of all that red.
Also swapped in a factory navigation system. Much better unit then what was in the CLS.
Have 1 more mod I'm working on but it's not done yet due to me messing it up. I'll put it this way... I need to buy a new steering wheel to get it working.

Are you doing something with paddle shifters?

Yep, sorry supertrooper, can only do it up to 07 models. Directly wired paddles work like they came with the car. Actually makes the manual shifting enjoyable & correct rather then the left to right moment of the shifter. With the trans mods I have the shifting is firm & car will hold gear & no auto downshifting or upshifting unless I program it. I destroyed my stock steering wheel on my 1st try. This one I learned. They are actual AMG metal paddles.
I remember you in the CL forums years ago. I sold my CL6 for a black 2007 Jeep SRT8. I see we have similar taste. But I found out my Jeep was previously beat on so instead of repairing the engine I went back to Acura with an RL. I miss that engine so much though.

For the cost of the car there wasn't anything that gave me more. I couldn't spend $30k on a used Acura TLS 6mt.
The only thing I really hate about this car is it's black. In south FLA trying to keep black clean is impossible. It rains at any time & then it dries on the car & you get water spots all over. You clean it & it's full of road dust & grime the day after because there's so much condensation in the mornings. Unless you have a garage(I don't) black sucks.
Oh update.....Can't see it, but I upgraded to a Challenger Getrag LSD.
