Front End/Alignment Question.

I was driving home 2 nights ago and I hit a curb....not hard, but I did hit it. Later that night, I was driving home and the car started to pull to the right while braking. I took the car to a shop and they said nothing looked bent or out of whack, so the said it may be a caliper sticking or something in the brakes. They just called me and said that they replaced everything in the front brakes and it still does it! He is going to put it on the alignment rack next. What do you think the problem is?

I'm suprised he didn't check the alignment first. That would be my first guess. Also, some of the suspension parts could be very slightly bent and will cause it to pull. Have them look at it closely.

They replaced brakes without first checking the alignment

I would find a new shop, this one likes your money too much

I hope an alignment fixes it!

alignment should fix it, chances are you just bumped something out of whack, this happens all the time, a decent pot hole can cause the same outcome.

sounds like something is loose or bent. when braking this may happen. if it just screwed with the alignment, it should pull allthe time. well........ if it only pulls a little when ont he gas it will pull more when on the brake. if this happens only when braking, i would check the parts in that corner

Make sure to check the bolts/screws around the suspension. Hopefully they are all tightened up...

Werd, I had the 95 EX-R and this pressing on off crap really escalated service costs. I can do brakes on my own, but sure as shit do not own a press. VTEC in that car pulls pretty hard for a SOHC

No they don't. There's a $250 MATCO tool available for the 90-97 Accord that allows you to change the rotors in about 1/6 of the book time.
