FINALLY!! I got my xB!
After a long wait, I finally got my car. #1484 - 5 Speed. My day was quite eventful (or uneventful) I'm in the car business, generally an independent dealer that deals with any make/model in sales/leasing/financing, etc. Anyways I ended up ordering the car through one of my fleet dealers in PA, he was the only one that felt confident enough that he would get me my car. My local fleet guys couldn't commit. Usually he delivers the cars to my door. I tried working around my schedule of deliveries where he was sending a new Land Cruiser for a customer of mine with one of his drivers. Instead of them bringing me the car, I wanted to get it myself, so the driver brought me my customer's car, and I got a ride back with him back to PA.
I had planned out my day in a way where I'd be able to get the car and install the springs/shims/wheels all one shot. Timing was crucial at this point. I was supposed to have left 10am this morning, I left at 11. The driver it turns out, has his "routine" when he brings cars to us. He goes to a certain diner to have lunch, makes a certain stop on the NJ Turnpike for what he called a "piss break", he was about 70 years old, an Ex-Marine and Ex-Police officer, which must have given him reason to drive SPEED LIMIT (if not a little under) the entire 120 mile drive. We generally didn't break 60 mph the entire way, staying at around 55. In total it took close to 4 hours to get to the dealer in PA. Once I signed the papers, as much as I didn't want to push the car, I had no choice. My goal to be home was 3:30-4pm, I didn't leave the dealer until about 3pm. I got back home in an hour and 45 minutes, but unfortunately it didn't leave enough time for me to do all of the modifications. As much as I didn't want to push the car all the way home, I couldn't resist, I was in a rush to get things done! All I was able to do was change the wheels and tires for now, and hopefully change the springs and OTG shims tomorrow, or some time before the end of the week.
As of now, I seem to be the only person in my area with an RS 2.0, as I have yet to see one on the road. Great car! I'll take some pics tomorrow if I get a chance!

I did look at the TC, I actually liked that a lot more, but I need the car more for utility than sportiness, which is why I chose the xB. I also don't like 2 door cars much, they aren't as practical as a 4 door. Overall I love the car, but don't plan on winning any races, that's for sure. I don't beat the car up, I just drive, shift as needed (3000-4000 rpm), maybe once in a while push it closer to 6 grand. I tried once pushing the car and shifting at redline, but it isn't really too thrilling, so I don't think i'll do that again anytime soon. The one thing that adds the "sportiness" to it is the sound of the factory DC Sports exhaust. It sounds quite good! The drone gets a little annoying when cruising at speed, but I just turn the radio up and I'm good to go! The other thing that bothers me (also related to the exhaust hummmm) is the fact that in 5th at like 70-80mph the tach is at like 4-5k rpm, a little high for my tastes. Other than that I'm getting the usual stares, smiles, people stopping and asking me what it is, etc...

and made by Toyota
ok. to each their own I guess. Sounds like a very practical car. I knew it was made by toyota so that was definitely a plus. I've just never sat in one or had the desire to. Seems like they sell ok and was just wondering if I was missing the boat.
I totally cant feel the xB.
Then again at 37 y/o, I guess I'm really not the anticipated demographic for the Scion.
Good luck with it Shoofin.
I'm not certain as to why that's particularly noteable to you.
