btw, mad props to that ferrari owner... I seen few members over at tl section where they buy beater so they don't have to drive their $30k tl in snow where this guy drives $250k+ car in snow. lol. am I missing something here?

Just found this:

The roads seem to be clear but come on now. Didn't garage a F40?!?!

This thread reminded me of this:

for driving in the snow too. I think it would be fun as hell. I like driving in the rain and the snow, and even at night, it's just other people that I'm worried about.

Best to always know all the details before.

As for cars, I've always driven all cars in winter when there wasn't too much snow. A lesson I learned once when snow caught me by surprise Mid-December is to always have proper tires. Makes it easy to regain grip after you're having umm fun.

The audi sitting in the driveway with snow covered all over and its LED lights shining, looks pretty badass! (in the video)

And props to the ferrari owner. Put some snow shoes on, few people on the roads, have some fun

I know I would, and then I'll end up in a ditch!

i just think how the salt and sand is bad for them and the extreme cold like some places
in the middle of winter it has got down to -40 or -50 with the windchill here, and i'd hate to subject a supercar to those kind of cold starts
if we had weather not much below freezing and not much salt or sand it sounds like fun driving a ferrari all year. i think a gallardo or r8 would be pretty fun regardless though, and probably pretty good in the snow with some winter tires on

I've never seen an R8 up close before - but why was there snow in the engine bay? Is there some opening back there that allowed all that snow to get in there? Seems like if snow got in then rain could also (which would be pretty bad).

Anyone know?

Yes the engine cover has openings in it for cooling the engine. they are pretty much just big holes. snow could easily get into it.
