Blue Tint

opinions? product recommendations? Llumar Blue, what %?

i am looking for a light reflective bluish hue tint that will not look cheesy, but somewhat noticeable. the application would be for a white IS250. really digging the white and blue look. what would have the same effect as those MB blue windows seen on the older CLKs?

looking to tint in the Westchester, NY area - any good tint shops?
is it a bad idea to get a car tinted in 25 degree weather if that car will not be garaged for the first couple of weeks?

Llumar Air 50

Llumar Air 80

Sun Tek HP50

which is darker? llumar 50 or 80? im confused with tint percentages, as sometimes the numbers are inversed. please explain.

50 is darker I believe, as it only lets 50% of the light through. 80 % lets 80% of the light through. And I like that blueish look. It looks the best on MB but I like it on other luxury 4 doors. 2 door with that tint doesn't seem right to me.

it would look great on your white IS for sure.

i noticed that llumar only makes air blue 80. may be too light...but for some reason the g35 looks blue as hell, maybe it saturated in photoshop...

sun tek 50 might be the better bet here...

i think it looks cheesy unless its on something like the Mercedes pictured above.

anything else i'd say light grey/smoke color.

just my thoughts though. do whatever you'd like

I have huper optik and it really compliments my silver car.
at certain angles and distances its a silvery blue then as you come up to the car it cast a shadow amongst the interior

personally i hate it, saw it on a white 4 door c class benz and it looked disgusting
but if you go pretty light then it might not look too bad

I think it looks good on luxury cars but it has to be super light like the benzes otherwise you risk looking like a ricey civic

Dont get blue tint confused with polarized glass...like the newer S class has above.

The tint, or polarized glass, on the black S Class looks nice.
