What did you replace it with? So many people have new cars in the last two weeks I can't keep track without a spreadsheet.

At least this isn't another NSX thread. When you say its been a rough two years, what do you mean by that? I was under the impression that you really liked the Evo.

Reliability and Mitsubishi are not exactly synonymous.

Nice replacement vehicle though.

Definitely a huge adjustment given you're going from a gocart-like car to an SUV. Oh well...congrats on the new vehicle!

It's not a downgrade at all. If anything it's an upgrade in reliablilty and comfort. A downgrade would be getting an RSX-S, or Civic SI to compare with an EVO.

His needs/lifestyle/wallet needed something more practical. The MDX is a very nice SUV.

Goodluck and congrats with the MDX

downgrade is a rather simplistic way of looking at the situation. it fits his current needs more than the evo did so it's an upgrade for him.

The Evo is a subcompact on steroids whereas the MDX is a luxury SUV. Downgrade? NOT!!

Thanks guys. I know i went from apples to oranges. Everyone is saying that. But i just got sick of apples and how i always had to take care of them and worry about it. Oranges are a lot more comfortable and a lot less of a worry free. I would like to pick up an NSX as a second vehicle. The Evo just wasnt my type of daily driver.

Don't let them get you down. I traded my Sti for a Pacifica and never looked back. We picked up a Cayman 2 years later though. I have my eyes on a 95 911 Carerra these days. Love the old school look and resale value. If I could only get the dealer down to $24k it would be a done deal.

That vintage is perfect. It's like everything I wish was a little better about my dad's 87 Targa but still minimalist ... Good luck man!

What got me really into it is the carfax report- http://www.carfax.com/cfm/ccc_Displa...AA299XSS320951

You can tell it was maintained fairly decently. The only drawback are the miles but with proper maintenance that makes it a moot point for me but hope to use it as leverage on the negotiations. Another drawback is when I asked to get a pre-purchase inspection from Porsche NA the dealer said that they give a 48 hour buy back program where I can get it inspected after purchase and if it is not up to snuff can return it. For some reason I don't think this would work out in my benefit.
