This. I've only seen 2 in the last 2-3 years out on the road. Before that was at the Dallas Auto Show years ago when it was released.

My dad had this exact model until about a year ago. Loved this car.

For a new car I think I've only seen one maybe twice.

 

In the last week alone I've seen probably 4-5 Prowler's, driven by men who are in the 60's every single time. Nothing like that V6 churning out 214 HP... I still see SSR's pretty frequently too, most recently on a flatbed tow truck.

 

 

Proof some of these ugly creatures still exist in the wild. I saw this one this morning and I've seen a yellow one a few times around town.

My friend actually had one (his sister drives it now). What a POS that thing is. Barely any power, cheap inside, and ugly. It's actually so cheaply made that once it got hit and the door wasn't sealing right, that my other friend was able to bend the door up and it was good as new, as good as that was. The same guy also had a Dodge Spirit, but the trans blew. His current car is actually not that common, a Foxbody (1989) Ford Mustang. And his is a 4-cylinder convertible , that actually overheated in a Burger King drive-thru and we had to push it out so other people could get their food

 

I still see those on the road all the time still, almost daily. I have a new appreciation for them after becoming a "Breaking Bad" fan.

 

Speaking of Yugo's I have a friend (he's Serbian) who owns 4 of them. All of them pristine. One is an all out race car and one is a Cabrio. They only made like 75 cabrios.
