for pure performance, yeah it might be better, but being able to achive a level of preformance while still maintaining QUALITY and COMFORT is why you pay more for the m3. i wouldn't want to drive an evo every day, but i WOULD want to drive an m3

eh, I'd rather take an m5 or e55 for an everyday comfort machine. The m3 isn't all that comfortable. The ride is actually pretty stiff. I drove one for a few weeks. Not enough torque down low. Very rev-happy. Nice car but nothing i'd purchase for myself. I like having a car that can be easily modded.

like they say, "different strokes for different folks"

BTW sounded like a cheap ass BOV.... mine is much better
