I love the Evo though. My friend just recently got some work done to his Evo and he just dyno'ed it. He's running 318hp and 312lb/ft to the wheels. I used to race him when he was stock and it was pretty close, but now he destroys my Z. Probably beat an M3 though.

You can make crazy horsepower with that car. I'm sure he has to have new cams to be making over 300 at the wheels. Still, extremely impressive.

I don't know Mr. Steve, M3's dig harder from a stop and trap about 1mph faster than our blown CLS's. They're in the LOW 13's stock. It is very possible to win though...but I wouldn't take a passenger

meh, a modded and properly driven evo will kill an e46 m3 in every way shape or form. As for modding an e46 m3. M3's are dime a dozen out here and I regularly smoke them from a dig and from a roll. I would buy one if they had more modding potential, but theyre pretty maxed out as it is. Only way to get more hp would be fully building the block and adding forced induction.
