Eibach Springs on Stock Shocks?
I'm usually not a fan of installing only springs on a car. From what I've read, the lower ride height decreases the life of your shocks and you may risk blowing them. Last thing I need is a blown shock.
I'm looking for a slight drop and some handling improvement. Only option in my budget would be to get just Eibach springs, otherwise I won't touch suspension. I want springs don't lower the ride height a significant amount, maybe around 1 inch. Will my shocks be okay with a mild drop?
Any suggestions are welcome.

I'm on my 5th car that I installed springs on stock shocks. Not once have I ever had to replace shocks due to premature wear. If it's a mild drop (up to 2"), You'll be fine on stock shocks/struts.
I had Eibach Pro-Kits on my Accord with the stock shocks and it rode better than stock and I never had a single issue with the shocks blowing out. In fact I still have the stock shocks sitting in my storage room in case I ever have a problem with the HFP shocks I have on my Eibach Sportlines. Those have held up perfect as well though. Pro-Kits are designed to be used with stock shocks. You'll be totally fine.

I had eibachs on my legend with stock shocks and it was fine. I did buy the eibach/stock shock combo used and assembled, so I wasn't too worried about them blowing out, since I had my full stock set up around as well, but I never had a problem with the eibach set up.
^maybe $150-200...or free if you do it yourself. it is really not as hard as you would think.
downsides are the inability to raise or lower your car, inability to adjust damping (how soft or firm the ride is), added stress to OEM shocks. basically with springs, once they are installed...that's it, if you don't like the way it looks well tough shit bc that's how it is going to look.
adjustable coilovers w/ dampers are the way to go. either that or adjustable shocks like koni yellows with springs of your choice.

About 50/50. I don't need a dramatic drop at all, just enough to get rid of the 4x4 look if I ever decide to go with aftermarket wheels. I'd love improved handling as well.
im ordering my first set of springs tomorrow (tein s)! lexus lease wont allow me to return the car with F-Sport products, which is B.S. so im going all out for an install/uninstall of tein s. cant wait!
im going with stock shocks, of course.
anyone know of a good tein discount site?

For $40 and a simple simple install you could put a TL 14mm rear sway bar in and improve your handling. That's what I had with my Eibach Pro-Kits and the combo was a nice blend of better handling yet comfortable ride.
I installed front and rear sway bars from the TL-S and I can plow through corners skidding all four tires under full control (installed them after I failed miserably on a small canyon cruise). I've always wondered what it'd feel like with coilovers though, because the bodyroll is pretty bad... I almost slide and sit on the door or on the armrest while I take sweeping onramps
I've rode inside an Accord with Tein SSp's and the car felt ridiculously stiff.. car was slammed, dampening was on full stiff too, probably riding the bumpstops.
