Dual Cone Intake FTW

Finally got around to put my BBK CAI in. Probably one of the nicest sounding intakes around. It just compliments the sound of the LS, making it just sound a bit meaner. Definitely not like those typical ricey intake noises. Definitely more oomph on the butt dyno too as well Cant wait to add a Corsa Exhaust and tune next week or so. These vette's are SO responsive to mods its not even funny.

Your vette isn't the only thing to respond well to these types of mods., it's any high displacement motor be it a v6 or a v8 in a mustang, camaro or even a challenger.

Most domestics tend to have very restrictive intake and exhaust systems which is why a simple intake, header and exhaust upgrade on all these cars do wonders. The tune, fuel upgrades are just the icing on the cake.

I was like why didn't you just get a lid. Then I saw it was a Corvette instead of a Fbody lol. Too used to Fbodies.

Nice purchase.

I've already talked to this guy Chuck Cow who is notorious for tuning vettes. It will be a dyno tune and I'll catch a vid for you guys. The only thing im debating is whether to get the long tube headers installed too....the center console gets pretty hot already and the long tubes make it worse without insulation. We'll see....

Corsa Exhaust is already $$$....$1,800 smackaroos!

To get the ladies in a TL, he'd have to don his Captain America outfit.

Awesome, really makes me miss my LS1. I saw a setup like this on an LS1 TA and it sounded awesome, yours definitely takes the cake though

OK guys, this guy got enough abuse in his previous threads.

Leave it alone or you'll have a nice vacation from the board.

Nice, Now you need an exhaust. I really like the Dual-mode performance exhaust from GM, it makes a nice sound but yet keeps normal cruising quiet.

Thanks man....you're telling me

Did you end up selling the RSX-S or what? You should try to pick up a C5, There are some good low mileage ones for good prices out there. Although I loved my RSX-S, once you have torque you will not go back.

^Gotta agree. Think I mentioned it in another thread but my ex had a Z06 and I never liked vettes until driving it. That thing was a beast and I loved having all that torque

+1, My Yukon puts out as much hp standard and there is a ton of room for more with simple bolt ons. Once I get past warranty, I'll have some fun too.

Hopefully the RSX-S will be told this week, I love my baby but it's time to say good bye, mostly because I lost my job and the payment needs to be given ASAP. I do want to find another job and save for something with TQ. I drove my cousins 540i which has 319ft lb, trust me I'm hooked on TQ. The second gear from low rpm to redline gets quicker then my 1st gear to redline lol.

Thanks. I chose it over the Vararam intake that every vette owner gets because this one is not only better quality but also looks much more bad ass.

Someone showed they bettered their 1/4 mile time by 0.3 sec just with a Vararam intake and everyone vette owner now gets it.
