All I can say is wow. My buddy brought his dads s600 down this week becasue he needs to get a serviced at Merc of Tampa. The power, when going about 40mph and you gun it your head will just hit the headrest. But a 140k car does have its flaws his radio stopped working and the rear AC lcd is all messed up.....The car has the AMG kit and all....maybe I might do a photo shoot with the S and the TL.

 

mercedes are known for electrical problems.

 

Yeah not only that but from 40-100 pedal on the floor, if you have the windows up you won't hear shit except for your whole body becoming stuck to the seat.

 

Yeah those S600s are pretty sweet. We took out my buddies dads 05 S600 and yes it does put a grin on your face because its rare for cars of that mass to be so quick and silent.

 

so kinda off topic, but my friend got a 2006 C230 loaner. This damn car is a sorry excuse for a Mercedes. Its pretty roomy for its size but for 34k, umm no. Save 6k and buy a TSX. The interior has fake leather that feels like rubber. The only thing I liked about the interior was the dash lights and the center stack.

I agree with that. My friend has one, and i was exceedingly dissapointed with the quality and how slow it was. Her's is a 2004, and they got a fantastic deal on it. My boyfriend's mom has a C320, and the difference in quality is amazing, its kind of retarded actually.

 

I still wouldnt even look at the c320, My TL is getting old and I been lookin at cars like the 2007 bimmer 328ci and 2006 g35 and the c350, but the bimmer and infiniti beat the benz in quilty and value for me........If I had the cash I would get a new S550

Those big boys are monsters. Honestly, there are no words in the english language to describe those upper end MB engines (especially the 65).

I had the opportunity to drive a CL65 last fall when I was in Atlanta with my dad when he had his SL in for service. We drove the 65 for about 10 minutes each and both of us said that his 55 felt "tame" on the ride home compared to the 65.

I saw a CL600AMG at the same lot when I saw the S500...
The S600 is a V12 with 500hp I believe... but not quite sure..... It has the same body as the S500 just a different engine and all the other goodies...

 

S600 has the big ole v-12 indeed, wish I could say I've taken one out for a spin, I would love to see how quick that sucker moves.

 

The S600 was a charcoal color. With Black leather.

The bentley isnt even ordered. They sold there Escalade and S600 and got a Rover HSE and 2001 Accord.

The person who bought the S600 had a accord EX v6 in excellent shape so they bought it for 4k. They took the moeny from the S600 to buy another business and waiting on the bentley till late summer, but this is the one they test drove.

Lets just say it makes your mouth drop...I believe 0-60 is about 4.4sec. They also have a Porche Cayman S and the S kills it.
