Drove the FX35 today

Went to buy the TL, salesman wasn't there so went across the street and drove a fully loaded FX35, wow it was awesome.

Not sure which car I like better.

The TL looks nicer, any thoughts.

Depends what you want, but the fx35 is not a car.

Jayhawk815,

How is Hays, sure a long drive from Wichita or Kansas City, and those State Troopers are all over the place.

Why do you say the FX35 isn't a car?

It's more like a fancy, lifted station wagon. It has an interesting and different design, but stick with the TL .

The Tl is sporty/classy looking. To most people I know the Fx is goofy looking. YMMV

I love the new key for the FX. TL has better Navi system and better price.

I say that because it's more of an SUV than a car. It sorta falls somewhere inbetween. Personally, I like the way the look, but prefer a sports sedan/coupe.

I happen to like the FX35 a whole lot. Of course you are on an Acura TL board so you know where peoples' sentiments will be leaning towards, but I think the FX35 is a good deal for the money. It is a comfortable riding automobile, it has a good amount of power (the FX45 is even greater), optional 20 inch wheels, AWD, and that Z/FX/G35c exhaust note is outrageously awesome. Of course I own a TL and my allegiances also lie towards Acura, but Infiniti is also a good car company and the FX is one of my favorite cars/trucks/whatever you wanna call it out right now.

Fx is a nice car, i like the look personally. I dont know how many HP it got, but once i drove with 2 other passengers on the car, it feels kind of lag at the start. Go with the FX45 is the price is affordable to you, my coworker own one and shit that thing is fast.

O BTW, is it to possible to make our car has the sound those FX has, well actually all those infiniti now have the nice sound from muffler, FX. G35.....

The more I think about it the more I am sure that I like the TL better.

fx35 280hp, rear wheel drive normally, press"snow on" change to AWD...

It looks awesome... but not sure ppl will like the design for a long time...

The FX kinda reminds me of that goofy, muscle-head in high school. You respected the fact that he could probably crush you like a bug, but that didn't mean he wasn't goofy.

Has anyone priced a good set of 20" tires? Whew!

Believe me, the 35's got enough power....The 45 has that same lag as the 35 on startup, but once it goes, IT GOES!
