Drove 2014 Elantra into standing puddle of water

Car did not stall out as I drove through. This morning car is making a whirring sound from front right end as I drove to work. Brakes sounded noisy at first but got better. Whirring sound is when I am driving.
Please help with suggestion of how to remedy.
Thank you, Beth

Hi Beth.
sounds like a belt got wet or a fan got wet which caused the lubrication within those items to dry up. this would be your best case scenario!

Is this why your worrieddaughter wants to buy you a Hyundai Excel?

^ That one was already locked and a new one was posted to Car Talk... where it belongs. Why lock this?

Something just seems fishy.. like that Hyundai Excel post further up.

Joins an Acura forum to as a question about a Hyundai Elantra?

Who knows but no reason to lock it. Once people stop replying it will die a natural death and slip off into the abyss
