Door dings
Have you guys ever gotten a ding out of your door yourself before? If so, some suggestions or a how-to would be nice! I need to save as much cash as i can.
And I know this is pointless without pictures, i'll get them up tomorrow.
MODS - if this is in the wrong area, sorry in advance!

Without specialized equipment you're more likely to do more damage then to fix it. This is a case where experience is crucial, the $150 a dent wizard type guy will charge is well worth the expertise.
When my S2000 was a few months old some douche pushed a shopping cart into the passenger door and put a ding in it right on a crease, they didn't recommend even trying to fix it due to the location, felt it could make it more noticeable. Even though I sold the car it made me sad every time I saw that ding.

That being said, my neighbor has left me six in the last month on my FX
Price sounds decent assuming no painting is required. OTW, factor on paying more. Also, if you do multiple dents in one body panel, then negotiate a lower price. Multiple body panel involvement is pricier obviously.
Just wondering, has anyone successfully use a PDR company to remove a dent in a 3GL door? I had a small dent and thought I could pop it out myself but once I removed the door panel I realized the door was double-skinned. What do they do, drill a hole through the inner skin in order to reach the outer door skin?
BTW, heat gun and dry ice DOESN'T work except for fairly large, shallow dents.

+1 for professional
Some IDIOT smashed my wife's Subaru a couple years ago. Some shops told her over $800 and it did look quite bad. A local dent guy fixed it PERFECTLY for $150

That's my Subie parked in front of a local restaurant. People get tired of me talking about her on here..... Go to the Subaru Legacy page for pics of mine and MattG's car.
