Don't park in front of a fire hydrant

Happened in my town the other night. Hope they got a nice fine + cost to replace both windows.

no no, throwing the hose over the car would have caused too much of a restriction in the hose so this was clearly the best option

I've ever heard of them just ramming the car out of the way of the hydrant. Only heard, never seen it actually happen.

I feel like I've seen a hose going through a car a few times, they deserved it but I'm sure they'll still say it wasn't their fault.

Two of my cousins were volunteer firemen, IIRC they said the honor of smashing the car windows goes to the pump operator fireman (often also the driver of the truck) who also runs the feed line.
