Dodge SRT-10 OMG!
I have a friend who sells cars for a Dodge dealer. I paid him a visit last night. He was a bit busy, so I decied to look at some cars. I was lookig at the SRT-10 truck, when he came back he asked if I wanted to drive it. It was a demo car for sure, it had almost 1K miles on it. What do you think I said
OMG! This truck has SO much power it's not funny. I have seen them at the track, sat in it, & seen people driving them but until last night I have never driven it. Couldn't even get the truck out of 3rd gear cause your doing 70. The stereo is SO kick ass too. No need to change a thing. I was suprised at how short the shifts were. I have driven manual trucks before & the shifts are so long. The ones in this truck were almost as short as the CL 6MT. This thing can get the power to the ground too. You have to try to spin the wheels. You can do it easily, but only if you try. If you mash the gas in first the tires just hook up, & your off. The things handles VERY well. Not a corvette, but for a truck this things on par with most any car. Braking snaps your necks. Hauls down to 0 as fast as it gets there. The bed is a joke, only seats 2, can't tow a damn, but it's so fast & mean. The interior noise isn't bad. I think the corvette is louder. Great truck! If I had the money for a toy, I would get this thing. It's going to be interesting to see how the new lightning goes up against it.

I just can't see anyone dropping 45 G's on a pickup truck
At least the Lightning is somewhat stylish... but a sporty looking Dakota with massive hp/tq doesn't do it for me. Perhaps when one blows my doors off I'll be forced to change my opinion... but not until then!

There is no point. It's a factory hotrod. A toy. Not for any pratical use except for fun, or bragging rights. Somthing you can drive off the lot & not have to mod it, & no worries about warranty's.
There was one I saw at the track 2 weeks ago. It was running 13.6's all night.
