i would think yes since they all use the same tranny, inspire, saber, us tl/tls cl/cls , oddessy

right same tranny-- in fact the tranny is the only assembled part from Japan that is on our cars, correct?

What about the MDX/Pilot...it was immune right, different tranny? (I've got a friend who is looking at buying an SUV)

correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the Japan version of the TL is called "Inspire"???

The rumour I heard was that Inspire=Leather, Saber=Cloth interior.

Well only 2-4% of all those transmissions are faulty anyway, right?.

the mdx actually has alot less tranny issues from what I gather. It appears that although the tranny is similar to the ones in the cl and tl's, the mdx tranny has a larger tranny cooler from the factory, which seems to prevent such issues.

two versions of the TL in Japan, the Saber and Inspire.

Wrong..the trannys were actually made in Marysville...didn't any of you read that article that noted that the biggest Honda transmission factory was in Ohio?? It was built to meet demand for the Accord, CL/TL, and Oddessey.

This may be for the 03 models but many of the previous (if not all) were made in japan.
