LOL, not feelin' it; we still miss our 2012 GTI, even though we're both well into our sixties.

As things stand today, my short list for my next car are as follows:

2018 CPO BMW 340i 6-Speed
2022 VW GTI 6-Speed
2022 VW Golf-R 6-Speed
2021 Mazda MX5 Miata 6-Speed

Long story short, "mature be damned".

Nahhh, you mean we're not millennials.

I spent quite a bit of time in Oshkosh and I'd sooner see a P 51 or Spitfire on the flight line than an F-18 that I get to see zooming by for about 0.1 second.

I don't know, I'm on the National Ski Patrol with a 55 year old man with a GTI and he looks kinda ridiculous in it.

I know you won't be surprised at this, but I'm also partial to the old piston engined aircraft, especially the Corsair.

LOL, I don't give a flyin' frig what anybody thinks about how I "look" in any given car, I drive what I like. Now, would I ever be caught dead in a bespoilered, slammed, and far-canned WRX? No freakin' way.

All my kids are half Japanese. Two of them have cars. One a Honda Fit (daughter), and my middle boy has a Pontiac Vibe (really a Toyota). The young guy wants a Mustang.
