The Dent Olympics
The Dent Olympics
So I ran into my buddy at Starbucks today. Long story short he is my tire hook up and I showed him a dent I got from a recent hit a run while I was parked. He has a buddy that removes dents for living and in competitions... WTF.
Longer story... H told me he could take the scratch out easy but his buddy could do some magic on the dent and pull it out for probably less than $100 since it would be easy, i'm a friend, and he needs practice.
It ends up he likes to remove dents as a hobby. And apparently there is a world of competition around removing dents almost as a sport.
I present to you... the Dent Olympics.

Who knew? I'm glad that there is such a competition. This promotes more craftsmanship in the trade. I remember when I had to get several dings removed. I'm so impressed with what PDR guys can do. The auto collision repair industry could use more techs with that level of skill and pride.
