..now now..i know the SUV's range from $40k to about $60k...
but i wanted to see if any of the members had first hand experience with any of them..
any other sugestions in that particular pricerange?
what we want is...navi, rear camera, and air suspension if possible..
btw..i test drove the ml500 and the q7..and prefer the Q7 my self..but maybe too big for mom to drive?

Lexus RX350/400h
Aside from being an all around awesome car (the 400h anyway) I bet it has the best navi out of the other choices.

Your dad should instead be wondering WHY everyone in town has one.

I have driven the new ML500, ML350 (M Class rally event), Q7 (Audi event), X5 3.0/4.4 (BMW Event) and RX400h (Lexus event) but have not driven the X3 or XC90.
If I was going to upgrade from our Murano right now, I would lean towards the Lexus RX (350 or 400h, not 330) with the 2G ML running a close 2nd. I like the 400h mainly because it combines great quality with respectable SUV fuel economy and serious enough performance to give the FX45 and Cayenne V8 a good run for the money.![Naughty](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/naughty.gif)
The Q7 seemed a little too 'truckish' but I would not mind having one.....just would not be my first or second choice. But, I do like it much better than the X5 and its ergonomics (IMHO) is far better than any other SUV. As for Audi's first attempt at an SUV, I am impressed.
That said, I agree with Ken and would try to hold out for the 2G MDX. As with most Honda cars, I am certain that it will have a fairly comprehensive equipment package for the money.
Sidenote: I saw a new G class on the Staten Island Expressway over the weekend. That truly is a beautiful full size SUV and FAR nicer than that overpriced 1G shoe box built for the German military.

Out of those choice I'd go for the Q7, it looks so good IMO.
Those will run you way over the $60K limit.
