Notice the shorty antenna in the first pic I posted. I prefer nothing to keep it clean, but can't live with the 10 ft pole antenna nor a radio.

i noticed that in the 94 NSX it says "acura" in the back, but the later models like 2002 it says "nsx" at the back.

If you like the wheels I am getting, I willl sell them to you @ the exact price I paid when they arrive. Around $2400 or something. Keep in mind Volk/Rays JUST raised their prices on Monday, same sets are now $500 more then before.

Ok now I've had some time to digest this I think my thoughts on the NSX are much like red leather interiors, I like admiring others but I don't think I'd want to live with it myself. I can see the attraction, but its just not my cup of tea.

What are your driving observations so far? I know just a few weeks ago you were adamant about keeping the 335, what got under your skin?

As for mod suggestions, I would keep it simple and clean, which is always my suggestion, wheels obviously, a suspension overhaul and a stealth audio install would be my must do mods. Then I would have to search to see if any easy power can be made, intake, headers, etc.... but I would seriously have to think about going super charged if I wanted more from the car, and I know that gets expensive. I don't think it would be hard to drop another $30k into this car.

Famous last words!

Hey, Im just happy you got out of the BMW. No issue here with switching cars out so often, they just have to be used so some other sucker takes the depreciation hit and not you.

And anyway, if youre gonna have a weekend car, have a weekend car.

Cant wait to see the pics when Im not at work (blocked).

For that kind of money on a weekend car, I would have to go with a Ferrari 308 GTS (in that same color combo), but an NSX would be a close 2nd. Much more practical and reliable. too. Good choice!

That's the thing that the Honda RWD vehicles have over the competition...

I did some poking around on the nsxprime wiki last night, and other than the 60K maintenance and the snap ring issue on the early cars there doesn't seem to be much that's as scary as the cost with a Porsche or Ferrari...

Never did much research on the NSX, but you Chicago guys buying 'em have perked my interest... Seems like a decent alternative to a 993, and the specs (hp, weight) are similar...

Is that because of the age of the NSX? It just doesn't seem to make sense as parts for a NSX will most likely be much more difficult to obtain if needed.

Am I the only one who likes the old skool antennae?

yes it's due to the age. 1994 vs 2000+ car, yup that's the difference

What's your wheel size and spec?

if they are 19" Gt-V then $2400 is a killer deal.

Not bad a deal.

Volk just raised their price $100 per wheel.

Do you mind telling me where you got yours? I ordered mine like 2 months ago and still not here yet. The shop that I ordered from, they are starting to get annoyed of me calling them.

I understand their point of view, but god damn... These aren't cheap stuff and I want to know when they are coming.

^ I ordered mine from Science of Speed. I picked them up at the OLD price, before they went up. I should have them in mid-July. They normally take about 10-12 weeks to arrive, so be patient. I just put an outlook reminder on the 10 week mark to send an email to SOS for an update on the wheels.... that way I avoid being annoying.
