I had the dealer try to find me a bank to finance the car. They found a few and came back with a 12% rate

So i called my credit union and over the phone they approved it and overnighted the check.

That is the joy of this forum, what ever impulse buy your thinking of, short of new exotics, chances are high someone on this forum has one, very diverse network of car owners, assuming you don't own an Acura(save the NSX) or you drive an Infiniti that ends in 35/37/45, a 335, a s2k or, now a NSX

At this point i am beginning to look at alternative loan sources but dont even know where to begin. Knowing that its possible to score a loan in the high 7% range for a 15 year old car is encouraging though.
Credit Union. 5 year loan @5.5% for a 1998, financed last October.

Youre not asking the right banks.

the staggered look comes from motorsports, more rubber more traction. But now most people just do it for looks. Of course, you can easily qualify your car as needing fat tires..... *cough*supercharger*cough*

How much did they give you for your 335i? If you dont mind me asking, but if you do then its fine....

The reason Im asking is cause I kinda want to pick it up, or trade my car in for it....

^ well they wont give the car for what i traded in for so its pointless to mention it.

I'd offer $40k though which is still a hell of a deal. But i think a guy on e90post.com is buying it this weekend.

Figured it wouldn't last long... For someone looking to get into a 335 cheaply, that the route to go, and the mods where tastefully done

They're basically selling it for what you were asking for it, so it's a decent deal...

Crazy Acura, were you at Streets of Woodfield in Schaumburg any time in the past week? I saw either a black or red NSX... not completely sure.

synth19 has been trying to find dirt on my car. Luckily he found more good than bad.

Heres what he found about it....

End your search for that ideal NSX HERE. 1994 NSX with only 56,000 original miles. 5 speed manual. Perfectly maintained and serviced at the Acura dealer with records. 100% Clean Carfax certified vehicle-no accident/salvage/flood history with clean Arizona title in hand. This NSX spent it's existence in sunny Arizona and just came to Chicago this week, only kept indoors. Tasteful upgrades like 17 INCH WORK wheels with a nice DEEP lip with nearly new BEEFY rubber and: RM NSX S.S. OVAL EXHAUST, RM NSX CARBON AIR INTAKE, RM NSX COMPUTER CHIP-C, RM NSX CROSS DRILLED ROTORS, RM NSX CARBON KEVLAR PADS, RM NSX SPORT SPRINGS ALL PROFESSIONALLY AND EXPENSIVELY DONE AT RM Racing in Phoenix, AZ.

*RECENT NEW CLUTCH AT THE ACURA DEALERSHIP WITH RECORDS* No nasty smoke odors from the inside. Leather still feels and smells nice. Loaded with CD changer, all power options, keyless entry, traction control, original NSX floor mats, books, manuals and keys. Inspected and ready to drive anywhere in the country, or we can arrange shipping to your front door! Call Rami, the sports car expert and reserve your chance to own an EXOTIC JAPANESE SUPER CAR. These cars are getting rarer every day, especially ones that are this affordable!
Guess thats good news! Much more mods than I thought.

Thanks for the heads up ... however, I was always lovin' the 2002+ HID lights and more liberal use of carbon fiber.

I spend a lot less time on AZ than I used to. But a 'quick' jaunt through Car Talk or Automotive News keeps me happy. Wife drives a TSX and I drive a 6MT that ends with "37" ...

The '90s NSX body is wonderful in stock form- better than all the V-8 Ferraris, maybe even the 512BB- and doesn't need exterior mods.

FWIW, I think the current wheels look good on the car, and wouldn't trade them for another type unless they were damaged.

I wasn't suggesting I'd pay him $42k for it. Maybe $40k though

^ haha.. that is totally a scam. It's undervalued by at least 20-30k for that year and mileage. At least the scammers are getting better. A few months ago, they would have advertised that car for 10k. LOL

Eh?, running 19s on both front and rears but rears are wider.

+1" on the rear wheel looks weird on the NSX. I think only horsepower monsters can really pull it off and make it look like it's supposed to be that way.

dang I didn't know RM racing made so many parts. I remember I wanted an RM intake when I had my Legend, but they were hard to find. Are they still even in buisness?

No biggie. Coincidently, I backed into a curb earlier today, but I didn't notice until I felt my rear tire on it. So luckily it was a LOW curb and no damage happened.

I like this shine front lip, only $225 and the quality is quite good. I've had a shine bumper before, no issues.
