a couple of my uncles cars...
Don't really know much about this... just thought I would share. He races this up at Limerock in Connecticut. Pretty much built the entire thing right in the garage.
and this is the new project. I think its a 1933 model B... or something like that. v8 engine putting out a whopping 35hp!

i remember seeing the old cadillac 16 cylinders put out maybe 80hp. i find it hilarious.
my friends dad collects old studebakers, hes got like 25 of them, including a presidential roadster. its sweet.

Nice. I've always wanted a car that I can take to limerock...
Freddy, if you google for flathead ford, you'll get tons of hits.... Lots of old school hot rod mods for the engine, but because of the design, it starts costing some money to get over 200hp from a antique like that.
I think the 33 had about 60-75 hp tho, here's a site with some of the specs:

The flathead v8 was the first v8 to be sand cast to keep cost down. Heck, you cold buy a tudor sedan for $450 back in 1933
