Frank you're all over the place with the possible candidates
Sounds like you need to go test drive some cars. What did you think about any of those cars I linked to you?
Like you, I love the 350Z, but I can't justify having a 2-seater. If you, me, and someone else wanted to go out to a bar or something, we couldn't take your car since the Z only has two seats. You can have the best of both worlds with a car with plenty of power and a few extra seats.

hahaha i know! I change my mind depending on which way the wind blows. In my gut, i know i want a fun car to toss around. I love the "grown up" cars, but I'm only young once so I will most likely find myself in a car that suits that desire. Going from a Maxima to a TL to an Altima, they are nice cars but were not very satisfying for somebody like me who enjoys being on the road. Like I said though, I have some time to try and get out of the lease I'm currently in, so I will be doing a lot of exploring. Tyler, youll probably be joining me on my trips to the dealers, and anyone else in the raleigh area feel free! haha.

I'll punch you if you get a S2k. Not really but I'll be extremely jealous.

Yeah I wasn't sure how I felt about the RX8 but I posted it anyway to see what Frank thought of it.
If I had the money that AP2 would be mine. I almost traded the TL for one just like that two years ago

Not really. People who say such statements have never owned a BMW before and just say things they hear from others. Our 2006 325xi is about to hit 100k and NOT A SINGLE PROBLEM it has given us except the water pump going out. The water pump replacement was under $800. Oil is changed every 15k and costs us $70. Love the car its reliable and fun to drive and fuel efficient gets 30MPG.....60% highway and 40% city. Wish my TL got that....my TL gets 18MPG LOL.
Any car can give you problems the key to keeping a car trouble free for a long time is maintaining it well. If you don't maintain a car it will give you problems later down the road.
The 3G TL is nice. It has decent power and is fun to drive but I don't like the MPG I am getting and somethings tick me off about the car. I get 18MPG and some of the interior parts feel cheap. The torque steer is another issue but once again TL handles great for a FWD car. Although if I had to do it again I would have picked either another E90 (328) or a G37 sedan.
I advise you to test drive a E90 3 series and trust me you will enjoy it. Since your in NJ I can suggest a excellent Indy near us that has great prices for everyday work.

i would LOVE a 3 series. But, bmw or not, I doubt i will purchase another car out of warranty again. my Maxima and TL cost me a lot of money during my ownership of them, and I would like to own a vehicle under warranty to know whether or not to keep or get rid of it once it exceeds the warranty based on my history with it. On the contrary, My Altima has had absolutely zero issues, and obviously I got it new, so that is kind of expected, but it is piece of mind that (to me) is worth the monthly payment I incurred when taking on a new car.
I have fallen in love with the WRX. Further research of the focus leaves a bit to be desired (in my humble opinion). I love the S2k but have never sat in one, and am not sure if would be at all practical for me since I do a few 900 mile (round trip) drives to NJ every year.
I am also in love with the 05-06 RSX type s, as well as the 06-07 accord V6 6mt coupes. Again though, I am still weary on going used again, so a certified warranty would be a must.

Tyler, Phee's TL is amazing and I wanted to jump all over it, but after thinking about it i couldn't justify dropping 4 grand at this point in time, while still having the altima, it would have been an unnecessary hole to put myself in, and impulse buyer Frank would have paypal'ed him the money, but responsible me decided not to.... btw it sold?!
