Cool Co-Worker in an S2000

One of my co-workers comes running over to me about 20 minutes ago all happy because he just picked up an S2000. This guy is 5'8 and about 250 so I don't know how in the hell he fits in there in the first place. Then he proceeds to tell me I'm getting old ( he is only 36) and I needed something different, then he says this little car is fast. I tell him you can make a monster out of that little car and he tells me how he was so much in shock doing 65 in 6th gear .. I just wanted to take the keys away from the poser..OK my rant is over.

Don't you find it kind of tight? Well this guy is a short ball of mud he just doesn't look like he should drive that car. He went from a Suzuki Vitara to an S2000

there is plenty of room in the s2k. I've let a friend drive mine who was 6'3", he was fine. Had passengers up to 6'4" 260 or so, no problems.

You can feel the weight of the passengers driving it though.

Width-wise it might be a little snug I guess.

Its very snug width wise. My father and I are very broad shouldered, and we can't even close the door in the S2000. Height wise though its fine.

I'm 6'3" 185 lbs and found it to be really cramped, even with the top down. I don't know if the steering wheel was tilted downward and the seat wasn't back or what, but it didn't seem like I could fit.

I'm 6'2" about 230 and fit in the S2K fine when I test drove it. I chose the 350ZR b/c it had more trunk room and mostly b/c I didn't want to have to drive a car at 7K plus on the rpm's just to extract the most out of it. Long highway rides would've been a bitch.

Congrats on the car.

I hear you, but the high RPM's do not wear on me unless the top is up.

Yeah I had a buddy that got rid of it because of trunk space. He was pretty hefty and didn't complain about size.

The trunk is definitely small, but it holds a 22" carry-on suitcase. That is enough for me.

I remember seeing an extraordinarily fat old guy in an s2000, and me dropping my jaw as to how the fuck he fit in there.
