Sorry, but I think a big wing on the NSX ruins its lines. I understand the homage to the race car with a functional wing and actual functioning air scoop, but it's just not my style. +1 on that hot white NSX.

Carbon fiber on an NSX?

Plus why waste money on Volks? Why not go with a decent budget wheel, like Rota?

im not a fan of carbon fiber but i dont think its rice to put it on a nsx.

those arent volks btw. why not "volks" if he has the money thats on him if he wants to spend the money. some good points have been made in this thread but how much he spent on his wheels and why not go with a bottom of the barrel wheel is completely irrelevant to this thread.

The fact that it has massive lips probably isn't helping.

I dont like the spoiler area of it, thats what ruins it for me, other than that it looks good. I've seen nicer NSX's. I also have never been a fan of cars when the panels dont line up (and aren't supposed to, I understand its purpose a bit (for cooling right?) but on a normal street car, I've never thought it to be aesthetically pleasing.

So what? Mansory makes some of the most expensive, highest quality products in the world for cars as well. Doesn't mean most of their work isn't still ugly as sin.

SuperGT inspired kits are almost a joke anyway on road cars considering the race cars themselves have almost nothing in common with the road car. It's like putting a DTM kit on a Mercedes C-Class & thinking it's something special. Jeff's NSX is a proper way of trying to go for that race inspired look.

This thing looks great but i gotta tell you, I couldnt stand the uneven bodylines and gaps if it was my car.

Love the interior though. Very nicely done.

Why is Jeff's car the "proper" way to go for that "race inspired look." Like, their is one "formula." haha As an NSX owner, I'm open to all kinds of distinct and different looks. After all, it's just one opinion vs. another. Same goes for Mansory.. obviously there are tons of people that love their products. I understand alot of you guys like the "safe" look, which is fine but I appreciate all kinds of styles.

PS- Jeff's a friend of mine and his NSX is by far my favorite NSX next to the Route KS Madonna NSX. I'll be shooting Jeff's NSX again this weekend so look out for that soon.

Probably because Jeff actually went the way of making his car look closer to actual NSX race cars, not what is essentially a steel-tube chassis that just so happens to carry a NSX body over it.

Why you decided to bold that you're an NSX owner is beyond me though. We all know you own one. What does being an NSX owner have anything to do with it? It doesn't mean you're any more open to all kinds of distinct and different looks than me or anyone else, does it? Your opinion isn't any more justified on this car just because you have one, too.

Then again, I guess since I don't own a NSX myself, I can't fully appreciate the car in the OP as per sng35's words, even though that's one of the dumbest excuses one can make for someone else not liking a car; cutting the bullshit aside, someone didn't like his friend's car, so he's sticking up for him.

The only thing that originally bugged me about the car is not the car itself, but the fact you called out others' opinions as having no hope because they don't like the looks of a bodykit; whoever made it has absolutely zero bearing on how they come to those opinions. You could tell all the people who made the first 10 posts that Mugen or Spoon made this kit & I highly doubt their opinions would differ.

You like the kit, sweet. I think it looks ok, but far from even the Top 20 best looking NSXs in the US. Others find it ugly. As you said, matter of opinion.

I was just about to respond, but this thread is getting completely retarded... I should just go ahead and lock it. The only thing I'll respond to is the use of bold, to emphasize that my NSX is as simple as they get- yet I can be open minded to other "styles."

The problem here is that nobody is questioning the craftsmanship of the work, but the owner's taste. He can do what he wants with it. Some of us do like it. I don't see the problem here.

Just because none of us own an NSX or are into a certain look doesn't mean there will be a car that changes our minds. The "[Cleanest] NSX in Texas" isn't it for most of us.

I just think it isn't a good assumption to think we're all close-minded just because we don't like one modified example of a car. That's like someone saying that he doesn't like Michael Jordan, and everyone around him suddenly thinks he's racist and only likes white basketball players
