They don't have this on their website yet but the September issue of MODIFIED MAGAZINE has new articles on the car, pages 18-19 has new tuner information. But listening to you I'm quite sure you know all about this..

Thanks! In an odd departure from the norm, Im actually focusing on aesthetics first. Ive never had a car that looked "good", so Im trying to improve there first.

It doesnt help that performance parts are expensive

It helps when you are starting with a car that already looks "good" in stock form! You can only improve upon that.

What are saying about the CL??

Just kidding. The CL is bland IMO. The paint on it sucked too (previous owners fault) and there were next to zero exterior parts for it

Forgot to mention that I went to Import Alliance this weekend. There were four other 86s there - one BRZ and three FR-S'. The BRZ and an FR-S were the same color as mine, and the others were silver and red. The FR-S' were stock. The BRZ had a Nameless Performance catback I believe, a prototype Airaid intake (Im pissed about that) and was on BC coils. Mine was the only one on coils, wheels, and had a spoiler Mine was also the oldest

Im still going through my pics, Ill post some of my car here and the rest of the meet in this thread:

Morgan....i think couple cars look freaking awesome from the factory and you can only add to it....the 3G TL, FR-S, newer C350, etc....

ohh wait forgot the CL in there

but in all seriousness....i have always felt the CL has more "personality" than the 3G TL....now i only hope Tyler doesnt read this....

Salt in the wound, if Tyler does.
I think a BIG part of the CL mystique is the fact that it's discontinued. If there were new RSX's, I don't think I'd break neck every time I saw an 05-06 type S, like I do. Maybe it's just me being sentimental...

CL is a great looking car, and even the 3G is pretty bland in stock form, but lower her and then aspec her...BAM.

Looking forward to more pictures of the meet, Morgan. Heard you and Tyler had a nice little picnic together involving, a hammock, multiple cameras and a lot of broken promises.

How dare you keep insulting the cl. It is a little bland but that is only because there was never an oem lip/body kit. With a kit I think it looks great. Just wait till I get my ron jon kit installed and molded. I kind of liked it being bland, makes it more of a sleeper.

BTW car is coming along nice, the trunk spoiler is a great touch.

I guess I'll pick up Morgan's slack and post some pictures of his car

Here's Morgan scouting out the competition ...

He wasn't too happy that the BRZ already had this intake...

I'm in love with this car. It's stunning in person.

Thanks Tyler. I tried to look at Morgan's thread, but work's network choked on it...have to check it out at home .

For what it's worth, yours looks the best, Morgan. That spoiler is perfect, and the wheels/drop are nicely done (ie. nothing ridiculous on either). You should've stolen that guy's intake . He wouldn't have minded, I'm sure .

I wanted to wipe the car down to, but that changed the second I stepped foot on that black top.

Thanks!

You have no idea how bad I wanted to take that intake. Thats the prototype of the intake I plan on buying. It wouldnt have been difficult to remove either

Hey Morgan, out of curiosity, how are those tails put together? If you wanted to do black on the chrome...are they cut apart, or pry apart?

PS...I'll pretend you didn't just say you drove to a friggin meet and then got too lazy to take 4 minutes to do tire shine.

Cut apart. I have plans

Maybe lazy wasnt the word......exhausted? I slept about 4 hours, was up at 3am, and on the road by 4. The heat didnt help things and I just wanted to see all the cars. About half way through the day I thought I should put some tire shine on them, but the heat was just unbearable.
