Yeah, it needs some...got a few planned/decided on. I think I have my wheels figured out, too (thanks for the insight UA6!!). Unfortunately, NC being stupid, car insurance, and property taxes are putting a damper on the discretionary funds at the moment.

Took advantage of some Black Friday sales...got a catch can, intake, and exhaust. Specifically, a Moroso catch can, aFe Stage II CAI, and Solo Mach XL exhaust. I put the intake and catch can on a couple of weeks ago, and the exhaust yesterday.

The one thing that sucks about the exhaust is I washed the car Saturday, and it rained yesterday and today. The extent of my checking it out was to start the car in the garage and rev it a few times . Thankfully, tomorrow is clear. There's not much to see with the exhaust since it reuses the OEM fake tips.

Out with the old...

In with the new...

The j-pipes are how it eliminates drone versus using resonators. And while bumper removal wasn't necessary for the install, it made my life a hell of a lot easier.

And a pic of the car from Saturday after I washed it. Between the cold and the rain, it had been a while.

Oh now you KNOW we are going to ask for an exhaust sound clip....but I understand. The weather sucks here, too. I've washed my car twice in the last week and was planning a hand wash.....but it's wet again today.

Nice man..very clean. Those catch cans catch a lot of oil. Couldn't imagine all that being sucked in through the intake. Actually that reminds me that I haven't checked mine in a while .

Oh, I know .

I won't wash my car if it can't stay clean for at least five days. That's why it had been so long since the last wash. I knew I was good since I could park it Sunday and Monday, despite wanting to drive it after the install. We're clear for a while now, so I'll see if I can come up with something.

Thanks. I've heard mixed things on the catch cans; I think it depends on how you drive. Remembering the check it will be the hardest thing for me.

That's some interesting resonator design. Reminds of the Mugen twin loop... sorta.

Thanks. I went for a long drive the other day...should've snagged one then, but didn't think of it until too late .

I might...as long as it's not 20. But I'd be more inclined to meet up with everyone afterwards for lunch. Save the early morning BS for when it's actually nice out. C&C would be much better if it started at noon.

If your excuse is that it's too cold, which you have no way of knowing this far out, then I understand. Otherwise, you should be there. If not, everyone will go to Sonny's afterwards, take pictures, and send them to you. Yes, it's cruel, I know.

I will definitely consider making the trip down Saturday.

Tyler - We are awaiting your reasoning as to why you cannot make C&C. Once you provide that reason, we will promptly label it as an excuse and nag you until you make it there.

Don't make us nag.

I'm attending a wedding. I'll be at the Cary C&C but can't stay long so I can get to the venue in time.

Unless it's yours, you should be at the Charlotte C&C. And if it is yours, you should have planned it better.

The ever-exciting mortgage pay down, Vinny. Yeah, I lead an exciting life. I love the new house, but I hate the debt. So much so I considered forgoing the car and putting the money I spent on it against the mortgage. I even ran numbers (although given my line of work, that only took 30 seconds). Then I bought the car . I'll probably do suspension next, then wheels, then headers and tune. I might get the wheels first, though, as that's the only thing in the list that can really be seen.

Nice progress on the car. The Solo has a unique low tone, at least from what I've heard in the vids. I might help one of our club members with a Yellow Jacket install his Solo kit so I'll finally be able to hear it in person.

I think the amount of bypass slows down as the motor breaks in and gets higher mileage.

^Thanks. It sounds a lot better than their official video. That one has some feedback in it. I found several user videos on YouTube, particularly on Challengers, that are much better recordings. My TL had drone, so that was my big thing this time around. It's so nice to be cruising along at 70 and not hear WAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH.

By the way, I've been lurking on the Z forums since just after the new Chargers came out...I remember seeing you on there. Your Charger looked good, as does your 300.

Thanks, I miss my Charger but was lucky enough to be able to upgrade to an SRT. I'll send you a link to my photobucket album of the Charger so you can get some ideas. At least now there's a lot of aftermarket support, you have lots of toys to choose from.

Thanks...was just looking through it. Aftermarket support is growing. Coming from a TL, I remember waiting ages for things to come out, if they ever did.

Finally got around to removing the spoiler. Holes are plugged until I can get around to getting them patched properly. Swapped the grille out for a black chrome one. I had originally wanted painted black (ie. body color), but even after researching part numbers and indirectly verifying everything I ended up ordering the wrong one . Since it's an easy swap, I figured I'd check it out before I sent it back. I really liked it, more so than the painted one, so I kept it.

Hmm yeah I personally like it better with the spoiler, but to each their own. The grill definitely looks much, much better now. Are you going to keep the stock 18s or do you think you'll upgrade wheels at some point?

A pushbar, a couple antennas on the trunk, and murdered wheels and you will spook me out on the road.

Most people do ; depending on the angle, it reminds me of the old Chargers more without it.

LOL I prefer '94-'04 Mustangs without spoilers .

I didn't expect many fans, honestly

Yeah, most people do. Wheels will be changed, without a doubt. I've never owned a car without swapping out the wheels at some point. They were on the list after the suspension, but there's a good chance I'll get wheels first. I keep waffling on what to get, though.

I bet that would spook a lot of people. Maybe that's how I can get them to move over

LOL. I've thought about doing something with the lights, but not a complete blackout...not trying to murder out the car. Latest thinking was blackout the third brake light and a light smoke on the bar to tone down the starkness of the red/black.

I liked the spoiler as well.

Now your car looks like all of the V6's I see on the road. If the sleeper look is what you were going for, then props
