So, after swearing I'd never buy a new car or a black car again, I got this...

2013 Dodge Charger RT Plus...every option except the 20's, the Beats audio, and adaptive cruise control. I would've preferred the spoiler not been there, but you take what you can get when shopping from leftovers. The 20's would've been nice, but ultimately stock wheels end up in a corner in the garage, so it doesn't really matter which ones are on there. The upgraded audio would've been nice simply for the subwoofer, but one of those can always be added.

I tinted the windows the other day, and will be debadging later today. Going to get a catch can (leaning towards Moroso) and a Solo Mach XL exhaust. The rest (suspension, wheels, headers, tune) will come in time. I'm in no hurry; I'll have this car for a long time.

As for the car itself, I'm loving every minute of it. It drives so smoothly, and the power is great. It handles surprisingly well for a car of its size. Gas isn't bad; I'm averaging about 18.5, so just a slight decrease from the TL. I'm sure I could manage better, but sitting in traffic kills it.

Thanks. You noticed that ride height, huh? Yeah, it's not very subtle. It's crazy to me...a two inch drop on a TL and it would be slammed; a two inch drop on this and it's normal.

No. I've seen the red interior in person, although in a red car. It's a nice color. I've seen pictures of it in a black Charger, and it looked good, but I would've gotten tired of it at some point.

I have an acre; I already have a riding mower. It's in the shed with the rest of the lawn equipment. That's my old stuff I need to put on CL.

I used a heat gun and floss, but I used a hair dryer/floss on the TL. The heat gun worked better, but the hair dryer will get the job done.

Thanks. Yeah, there was a bit much going on back there, at least for me. I need a new license plate frame, though. Old cover was trashed, so I tossed it. Bare plate looks bad, especially where I ripped part of it off because the old cover stuck to it :ugh:

Oh, I know; been there, done that. Didn't want to do it again, but it's the best color they had going. I wanted red, but don't like either of the red's they offer. Chrysler makes a great red, but it's only on Jeep, Chrysler, and Ram; not Dodge. The blue is pretty, but I would get tired of it. Only other color I would've gotten was the dark gray, but there wasn't one around that had the options I wanted. And work or not, I love it, I really do.

Yeah, tuner was released about a week before I got it, but it's only on the Trinity at the moment. I'm up in the air on the intake...not sure if I want one.

Oh you want an intake, believe me. Paired with the tune the 5.7 comes alive big time. I've been having so much fun chirping 2nd lately. --> Auto Stick hee hee :racing:

^Thanks. And I agree. For example, the only color I'd consider for a Challenger would be black. Even if they offered the red I like, I'd still get black. Same for the Mustang.

2G Chargers are :pimp: Congrats. Now go wind that Hemi out! That car is yet another example of performance bang for the buck.....with useful space.

If its thats darker red...then yes it was offered on the challenger in the past.

But, as the owner of a black challenger, the car has come in some pretty awesome colors...I have always been a vocal fan of the plum crazy purple...and I really like the green with envy.

But...hey you can never go wrong with black. You can always add color to it to help set it off.

It's not the same red as they had in 2010, which I did like, but it is darker like that one was.

There's a guy with a GWE 392 near me. I always pass him going the other way when I'm going to and from work. It's a nice color; looks great. PCP is nice, too, but I still prefer black for the Challenger.

Love it! The only reason I got that mileage though was because I went across the county twice yesterday; all interstate. It was the most I've driven it in one day, and I enjoyed every minute of it. Very comfortable, too. This would be a great car for long trips.

Oh, during regular use, I've settled in the mid 19s for mileage...just two less than the TL. I'd be willing to bet with the 8-speeds next year the 5.7 will get the same or better mileage than my TL did. Hard to believe a much larger V8 can get the same or better mileage than a six.
