I dispise that era Porsche.

The 350 only makes it marginally better.

 

The 928 is a good fit for the Chevy V-8, but there's LOTS of other expensive things to fix on those bad boys. Electrical issues, torque tube rebuilds, transmission, etc. etc. It could still nickel and dime ya to death.

I always wanted one though.

I remember these from when I lived in Germany in the early and mid-80's. I always wanted one. I can only imagine the launch with that engine, though.

 

suprisingly....a lot of the "porsche fanatics" have done this swap themselves. It's become pretty popular and the LSX series swaps are popping up more and more.
